Hello All,
I have been following the diet, no cheating and feeling good that I am taking care of myself mentally & physically. In the beginning I was marking the days off the calender until my 12th week and lately I was dreading the weeks going by because I'm not near my goal weight. The 12th week was the light at the end of the tunnel that got my through no coffee, no milk, pizza, wine etc. But I'm not going to lose 52 pounds by the next 4 weeks and today I am ok with that. I guess its my "Ahh-ha" moment, I'm in this for the long haul, however long it takes- and for me that takes the pressure off.
Have a great day:)

Hi KMac! I just signed up for my second round of 12 weeks and I would have to venture that MANY MANY MANY people on the forum now and in the past have done more than one session to reach their goal.

LOOK at what YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED!!! Holy Cats - 32 pounds in 8 weeks!!!! That's amazing!!!! Yes, it takes dedication, but you're in the groove now.....don't slip out, because once you're in the groove it becomes a habit, not somehting that you have to think about all the time.

This is a journey, not a quick little road trip, but it's the path to staying healthy for the rest of your LIFE! See it to the end - YOUR FABULOUS GOAL of 84 pounds GONE and a heathier YOU FOREVER because you will be well trained.

You are right, however long it takes. Stay 100% every day and it won't take as long as you think!!!! We are all right here with you, time 1, time 2, time 3 - !!

I'm on my 2nd 12 weeks, too. If it takes a 3rd, then I'll do it cuz I KNOW it works.

Don't despair Kmac. Being on the plan means we stay in touch. I can't imagine a day when I will have finished this diet, be thin and not see you guys every day. (No, I won't slow my diet down to keep posting here every day). I know that after we reach our goals, some of us will continue to stay in touch.

Thank you Suzanne & Stephanie- I needed to hear that. You are right this is a journey, not a race. I am grateful for the weight & inches I have lost, and I grateful to the wonderful people on this message board who get me going when I need it. :)
Your are terrific!

KMac,

I believe that we started about the same time. I will also be signing up for another 12 weeks. We have come this far, so there is NO turning back. The first 8 weeks seemed to have gone by pretty fast. Just think about this time next year and how successful you will be having completed the program and are maintaining. Woo Hoo, I cannot wait.

Do NOT worry about signing up for more than one 12-week program!! I am in my 4th 12-weeks! But....it's worth every penny and every second that I'm on this diet. My official monthly weigh-in was last Saturday and I lost another 7 pounds this month. The weight loss has definitely slowed down but it's ok with me! We all need to look at this as a life changing journey and not a quick fix!
Keep up the great work all of you!!!

Hi Chris,
I had that "Ahh-ha" moment too when I was on my 8th week, I just signed in for my second round last Friday and it has taken the pressure off.

I'm pretty sure the loss will be slowing down on this second round, but I'm hoping (not expecting) for the best!

Let's have a great journey!
