Dayanira's Photo shooting!

So here they are friends. The first one was taken on Christmas Day, walking in Abel Tasman National Park. I think I was around 176 pounds or more. The next 2 pictures I was on the 2nd week of doing 1PD and the last one was taken by surprise by my husband while doind the grocery shopping. In the last one you can see my neck has shrunk and my chest is a little bit bigger than my tommy!

I'm hoping to take new pictures by the end of this week. Meanwhile, here they are...

Thank you friends! I'm enjoying your compliments and encouragement. It's really funny how we all hate picture taking when we are overweight. The picture while walking at the National Park was taken by my 8yr old daughter by surprise and the other two I was so unconfortable posing for them. My husband and a friend had to convince me to pose for those. Now I don't regret taking them, I wouldn't have "before" pictures to post!

So, today we decided to take more pictures. Everybody wanted them to be taken outside, but there was no sun and it was freezing cold! It was 41ºF and that's too cold for me! I would have needed to wear a jacket.

The pants are size NZ 12, I bought them to wear them for my birthday 3 weeks ago and today they felt loose! Plus I think black colour helps a lot!! And YES! Those two are my darling daughters on the last picture.

Watch out, Dayinara....before long people won't be recognizing you! I have people all the time tell me that they didn't recognize me!! My aunt who just returned to Michigan from wintering in Florida told me after church Sunday (the first I've seen her for 4 months) she wouldn't have known who I was if I hadn't been with my husband!! Pretty wild, huh?

Last night I went to a meeting, few people hadn't seen me for about 2 months. When they came I was already seated at the meeting table, but when I got up to go to the bathroom (after finishing my 2nd litre of water!) the meeting was stopped by one of these people and asked me to stop and turn around to show them my new body! I was so embarassed! After everybody insisted I complied! My face felt so hot! What a moment!

And Yes, those two are my daughters. They took turns taking the pictures posted here and they asked to be in too.

I just have to share what happened last night! I was spending the night with my two adult daughters who room together in NJ . I was looking at the forum and told them I wanted them to see how wonderful my list mate was looking. I wish you could have heard them! WOW! They said how totally terrific you look! The idea of the same oufit was such a great one. I just wanted you to know that your ears should have been ringing because you had tons of compliments last night! :))

A couple of days ago, I was going to give away the pants, but my husband snatched them from my hands! And said, "No, no, no, I'll love to take another set of pictures of you on those pants when you finish the diet!" So, he has put them away in his wardrobe.

It's incredible that the weight is coming off just from the right places. This "new way of living" is soooo great!! :party1:

Ok, after so much demand...:flirt: Here are the latest pictures!
The very first one I'm with my daughter who weighs exactly 61 pounds, the same amount I lost doing 1PD. She came up with the idea of taking this picture :)
I still have some fat left over, but I'm hoping to "shift" it with exercises to my rear or my legs :weights2: We'll see.

Please don't tell me that I shouldn't be worrying for those 6 extra kilos that I want to lose before my trip in March. These pictures were taken yesterday 03/Feb/2010. We were at a painting exhibition of our Native American friends. You can see that in the first picture I unconciously put my hand over my tummy to cover those 6 muffins :sadeyes: On the second picture I'm holding my tummy very tight!!! I like my face, though ... not much of saggy bags under my eyes :)
