Hi Everyone

My other half is wanting to go on a diet and would like to do the "Dr Cohen" diet, however he doesn't think that there will be enough food for him.....do men get different portion sizes to women and also do the Dr Cohen team take into account your day job and amount of activity you do? Hope you can help......Jane x:thinking:

Hi Jane....
The custodian here at school who I got to do 1PD is a guy and he has larger portions and more cracker allowances per day than I do.....so I would say that yes, guys get more food.....AND the WORST part: guys tend to lose weight faster than women!!!! Totally NOT fair!! :)

Hey,
I know this isn't a new post but i thought this might help any one with the same question.

I get for example:
135g of meat and 95g veg for a meal 2
135g chicken and 100g veg for meal 3
70g cheese and 60g veg for meal 1

Also 6 crackers and 3 fruit!!

How does this compare to others meal plans???

OMG! Aren't you lucky? The amounts you are having right now are the same I'm having now on Refeed! For meat - either meal 2 or 3 - I was only allowed 100g with 105 and 100 g of veggies, respectively. And for chicken I had 2 different amounts for meal 2: 105g and 115 g, and 110 and 105g of veggies.

Us blokes aye!!!!
I do consider myself lucky that i have larger dinners then..... I hope this will not slow down my weight loss!! I can ask for smaller portions if i find that i can cope with less and am not loosing as fast as i like???

Thanks
Jim

Just leave your portions alone!!! Believe me! There is going to come the time that you will still feel a little space in your tummy and that will make you get off the track. Wait and see for your first 4th week weigh in. You'll be amazed how much weight you've lost.
