View Full Version : Is eating before your 5hrs realy bad?

Hi I am on my 6th day and i over slept today throwing my schedule off. I didn't want to eat to late so i ate my last meal after 4hrs from lunch. I'm curios how much will this hurt the diet?

It can upset your hormone balance...try REALLY hard to stick to the 5 hour rule! NO, don't TRY....JUST DO IT!!
Chalk this up as a learning experience and don't let it happen again..... :)

For best results and fastest weight loss, I recommend that you always follow Dr Cohen’s program / his rules 100% - any deviation will slow your progress down, especially if you do those deviations on an ongoing / repeated basis – all the little bits do add up! and we don’t want to drag out your diet or delay your success {noway}

I recommend that you have your fruit and crackers spread out throughout the day – you can have them with a meal or as a snack between your meals. Please remember not to have more than 2 x 5.85 grams of crackers at one time...

Thank you i am starting to have my fruit in between to avoid eating before my five hours. I'm getting ready to eat now Thanks for all the help information.

You'll be suprised at how your body will adjust when you put it on a schedule. It was hard for me to wait 5 hours in the beginning, but I changed my eating order from M3, M2 and M1 due to the type of day that I lead. Also, now that I have trained my body when to eat....I often times have more than 5 hours pass before I am getting the hungry trigger from my body. Sometimes I have to remind myself to check the clock so I don't end up pushing back the rest of my meals.
