Hello to All

I have submitted my Application and am now waiting for a response, so no registration # yet.

Just curious... any Canadians on this forum?
I'd like some info on labs/blood tests. How does it work for us?
I notice that there are no Dr Cohen Clinics in Canada yet.

Hi there -- I'm not Canadian, but I live on the border between the US & Canada (at Detroit) -- Canada is actually SOUTH of us here :-)

There are multiple labs in the Detroit area if you live near here, and depending on where you are in Canada I'm sure there are labs in New York and New England as well (and heaven knows the Loonie sure goes farther down here than our dollar does up there :-).

We have Canadians on this program but I am not sure how many are on this forum. I suggest that when you receive your referral for the lab, you send an email to the 1PD asking about location of labs in your province.

With the current trend of the exchange rate, the Loonie is going soon to pass the dollar.

I live in Brantford, Ontario. I found out when I tried to get my first blood work done that the province requires it to go through an Ontario-certified doctor's referral. I just went to my doctor's office, she gave me the blood requisition, and off I went (I didn't even have to pay any lab fees). A few days later I went back to the doctor to get the results printed out. I emailed them to Dr. Cohen myself.

I am still not able to register on this forum but hope to get my client # soon

This is a wonderful forum and Im sure you will receive all the encouragement and support you need right here!
