It is the week of love with Valentines Day just around the corner..... :love1:

I would like you to make this an extra special Valentine’s Day: make this your one and only Valentine’s Day ever where you will be on DIET!

(That is not meant to make your cringe but rather to challenge you to move up higher…)

To help you succeed, I have the following tips so that you can stick to your 1st Personal Diet Program 100%... remember, it’s a day for love… and, surely love means wanting to look your very best for that special person! :wedding: Love means looking at the long term, not just the quick thrill and that is why we want you to remember that you will be on diet for a limited time only… next year this time you should be on your goal!!!

So instead of chocolates (a big No No!!!) I recommend that you suggest a gift that your loved one can get you without derailing your future plans of looking stunning. The following make really nice gift ideas…

Any beauty treatment such as a mani, pedi, facial or hair do will help you to look your best and to feel stunning! :cloud9:

Then there are the old classic Valentine’s Day gifts of flowers, perfume, (cologne for the men) and jewellery.

Why not add some new gift ideas that will help to keep you motivated such as fashion and clothing items which include a new handbag, belts (especially nice for the men who will need this to keep their too big pants up!), new shoes, all sorts of accessories such as bangles and broaches… clothing (such as a stunning denim) in a smaller size so that you can look forward to wearing it in a month from now!

As an example: A delightful gift can be as simple as a nice warm scarf with a note saying: I want to wrap my love around you…

Other gift ideas include those which could pertain to your hobbies: a CD of your favourite music or a Book that you have always wanted to read… goodies for card making or scrap booking or flowers for your garden… Tickets to a special play or show or even a movie… these gifts are bound to make wonderful memories and they will not derail your HARD WORK!!

There are plenty of nice recipes on the forum for you to choose from… in not going there today - all I want you to do is to remember to bring out the candles, set the table beautifully, play soft romantic music and set the scene for some romantic dancing or a bubble bath together. Sprite Zero looks great in a Champaign glass and adds sparkle to the theme with pretty napkins etc…

You can pre-make some of the recipes and go for a romantic picnic.... you could start your day off with breakfast in bed...

I want you please to make the focus of your day the love you share with each other :love5:

I’ve posted this in time for more of you to share ideas… so let’s hear what you are planning…

Remember: YOUR LIFE IS WHAT YOU WILL MAKE OF IT!!! So, PLEASE make it WONDERFUL!!!

Hi all,

Great thread Shasha! I really applaud your suggestions :applause: and especially like the part that next year we'll all be at our goal! Yaaayy!!

For the first time ever, my hubby is really embracing Valentines Day. He's planning a dinner using Lobster (my allowance of course) and something else that he's not telling. He's also buying me something to do with my new hobby of Digital Scrapbooking to help me keep my mind occupied. And I'm getting my hair done this Saturday and might even go for a new style as my face has thinned down already (according to hubby). I'm getting him some cologne - he's a man who doesn't need or want much. Which is good and bad, cos it's hard to buy for his birthday and christmas.

So for the first time we're using Valentines Day this year to celebrate our love. Previously we've made other days of the year special, so I'm really looking forward to tomorrow!
:love1:

Hope you all have a lovely day!

{hi} there Cyberella

Did you see the movie called One Night with the King?

It is that story of Queen Ester...

Well... in those days, the girls spent 1 year going to 'beauty school' - eating special foods, bathing in perfume using oils etc BEFORE they got to spend ONE night with the King... it was not to say that the King would even marry them... he was just looking for the right girl.

See this as your time in Beauty School... take special care of your nails, hair, clothes... and more important, take care of every aspect of you, physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally...

The time will come... :comfort: and, may I say hopefully not before you have completed your diet, because this may just be a distraction. (Often times new relationships mean eating out etc. and that is not your best option for now...)

It's always better to take one task at a time and master it 100% than to do too many things at the same time... and now is your time to discover {cheerleader} the NEW HEALTHIER YOU! {boing}

{hi} there Mr & Mrs Peel

Well, I must say, when it comes to these kinds of celebrations, I'm extra glad when couples JOIN TOGETHER... I just know that your DIET BUDDIE is NOT going to come home with something that will derail your progress...

WAY TO GO! {goodjob}

Hope that you had a super :love5: day too!

PS: Tomorrow is Saturday... you can celebrate your love again! This time without having to go to work or get up early!!! Having a cup of coffee together :love5: or going for a movie... MMMmmmmm and, why not??
