Hello there fellow losers! I am new to this, started yesterday, and am excited to see the weight come off. Summer will be here before we know it! I need SIMPLE meat and veggie dishes because I am also cooking for a family of 5 children. Any great tasting quick ideas out there? Also, has anyone found a certain Ryvita cracker that tastes best? I am looking forward to the support I see on this forum...let's beat this one!

Welcome, 2Bslim!!!! You've found the right place filled with awesome people and you are using the right eating plan too!!!!! CONGRATS! Surf around the recipe sections to learn how to cook your food. I found that I grill or pan fry my meat, saute a few veggies and pour it all over fresh greens for nearly every meal. It's quick, easy and yummy.

I'm just 17 days ahead of you so let's get healthy together!!!

Thanks everyone for your welcome. Right now you are all strangers, but I am sure on this journey, we will all get to know each other very well.... looks like there are some real friendships blosooming already.
I am still trying to figure out how to write on this forum altogether. kind of like facebook.... I gave up on that one.
Is there a way to talk to one person specifically? How do I ask someone for a recipe etc? I am looking for the zucchini pancakes and couldn't seem to find them under the search in recipes. I would also love to see that muffin one someone mentioned.
Keep me posted please.
Teresa

Welcome 2Bslim-
This is a great place for support. I have been on the program for 4 weeks and can always tell when I have been away from the Forum. It is such a blessing to have someone who is going through the same thing to talk to.

The recipe for zucchini hashbrowns is in this Forum.....on the front page scroll down to Recipes.....that's where you'll find a whole bunch of other recipes!! One of the Cohen-ites posted detailed instructions on how she prepares the zucchini hashbrowns. I love these (although I cut the quantity of onions back to just 10g) and have them for breakfast nearly every morning. I would even serve them at a brunch for "regular" people!!! smile.....
You can also select the "search" button at the top of this screen and type in zucchini hashbrowns and find the recipe that way, too.
Good luck...
