Hi! I just finished week 8 and sent in my results and I have lost almost 30 pounds so far. Is that considered good or not? I know that it is a very individual thing, and I feel great, I just don't know if I should have lost more or not. When I did my blood work at week 4 they said that HGH level was not very high and I don't know what that means. And, does anyone know what week 16 is? It is in blue on my Progress Report chart and I am not sure what we do week 16? Is that when we figure out if we need to sign up for another 12 weeks?
Thanks!

30lbs in 8 weeks is fantastic.. I lost 30 in 12 weeks

16 weeks is the start of the next 12 weeks, that is if you need it and haven't hit goal weight yet.

You are right, our journeys are very personal and depending on how much you have to lose ranges. Some people with a lot to lose, lost quicker and those with not so much slower.

30lbs is amazing to me in 8 weeks! Great job!

I also think inches is a powerful way to measure your loss.

Grab a ticker and let us know how far you have come!

{hi} there Paige

{congrats} WHAT AWESOME PROGRESS!!! {wave}

You have done really well!!!

To answer your question:
The 1st Personal Diet is a 12 week program. If you reach your goal within 12 weeks you may request your Re-feeding Program and you won’t have to renew your program, if you need more time than 12 weeks in order to reach your goal weight, you will be asked to renew your program.

It all depends on how much you had to lose and how much you lose in your first 12 weeks!

DO KEEP UP THE {goodjob}!!!

At week 16 you will get another blood test. Because it is the 4th week of your 2nd 12 week segment. I was confused at what to do at 16 weeks too, as to whether or not I get a blood test.
30 lbs in 2 months is awesome. Way better than any other healthy diet you could do. Keep up the great work.

Following your diet 100% = Doing Well, Scratch that, it equals doing AMAZINGLY WELL. 30lbs is a huge number for 8 weeks by any standards but even if it hadn't been such a big number following the program is really the goal. THis balances your body so you can lose the most weight in the healthiest way. You should feel fantastic about your progress and all your hard work. Keep at it!

Thanks for all the supports and cyber pats! I just kind of feel all alone out here sometimes and don't really know if I am really doing well. My consultant set my goal for 25 more pounds so I guess I will have to sign up for another 12 weeks. Which is really fine, because I am feeling great. I survived Thanksgiving, Christmas, my husband's 40th birthday and my son's 16th birthday without a cheat, although I probably drink more soda than I am allowed, but...I just HATE to drink water!!!
You guys are all great! Thanks so much!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! And....lay off the soda! I find that if the water has been refrigerated it is much more tolerable (I'm not a lover of water, either). Try to treat the soda as a treat rather than a mainstay of your diet. Although soda is allowed, a lot of it is not good for us either....the acid in it can damage the enamel on our teeth....and who really knows the longterm effects of Nutrasweet??? Be careful out there!
YOU CAN DO IT!

{hi} there Paige

As you can see from the response of your precious fellow Diet Buddies, you are not in this thing alone {grouphug1} and, YOU ARE DOING VERY WELL!!!

{goodjob} on triumphing through Thanksgiving, Christmas, your husband's 40th birthday and your son's 16th birthday without a cheat!!! :clapping3:

I agree with Phyllis on the WATER – see it as your best friends. Try to find ways to drink it and enjoy it – if necessary, get a filter that allows your water to taste better...

Your 2 liters is something that you need to do for the rest of your life so the sooner you make friends...

Even if you have to keep telling yourself: JUST DO IT, because YOU CAN!!!

Think about this, how much you better you would be doing if you only drank the allowed soda and drank all your water. I bet you would have been down 5 more pounds easily. I totally hated water when I began and now I drink 2-3 liters a day and feel it is great. Remember water helps fight those fat cells and flushes all the toxins out of your body.
