SO glad you're on the path with me! The first week is hard for a lot of folks, but it does get easier. Today is the start of my 7th week - I'm halfway through the first 12 weeks! :laughing:

{hi} there Happy1 and MRS PEEL

A VERY WARM WELCOME TO THE FORUM! {grouphug1}

We trust you will find much inspiration and encouragement by reading the posts and talking to fellow Diet Buddies... Mrs Peel is really great! She is one of our PRO DIETERS! you know... :clapping:

The first 3 days are the most difficult - please just hang in there! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!! We recommend that you avoid the cheese and yogurt options as these are the least filling meals and that you please take an extra vitamin at lunchtime for the first week or so.

After the first week you should be fine... try to keep your mind off food and reward yourself each evening with a special pamper bath... now is a good time to get your mind absorbed in that book you've been wanting to read!

Mrs Peel: I can't believe you are on WEEK 7 ALREADY!! Time actually goes by so quickly!!! Tell me, how are you feeling and how are your clothes sitting???.... or are they completely falling OFF {rofl} ???

Hey, Shasha!

I know, it has passed so quickly! I can wear my 36 waist pants now - down from my 40's! :laughing: Not much else has changed, clothes-wise, but since I am quite tall (5'10"), I've always worn L or XL tops for the shoulder width and sleeve length anyway. The real test will be fitted dresses - soon! :dance:

I feel great - I'm completely acclimated to the diet and don't even really think about it. My energy level is good and I sleep wonderfully. And my knees don't hurt!

Can't wait to see what the full 12 weeks accomplishes - {wave}

Hi again everyone. I'm also on day 2 but very enthusiastic about sticking to this program. I didn't know about the extra vitamin for the first week. Thanks for the tip! I just took mine. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with your egg? I am currently scrambling it and then having it with zucchini and squash but I know this will bore me after a few weeks. What are you guys doing for breakfast? thanks and happy dieting to everyone. this is going to work for all of us!! WAY TO GO, MRS. PEEL. You are an inspiration to all of us newbies!

Hi, there happy1. Welcome to the program. I'm on my second day, too. The apple and or crackers in between meals has helped me the last two days. Also, I down water when I'm hungry then busy myself with some work and so far that has helped me. I've tried tons of diets multiple times before. I know this can work for us! Sticking to it is all we've got to do. Good luck!

Thanks, flwrgrlie! I look forward to hearing about your progress at the halfway mark, too!!

Shasha's Spinach Frittatta recipe makes a fab breakfast, and I also have a few other faves:

:clover:Soft-boiled egg w/crackers, sliced 1/2 tomato
:clover:Hardboiled egg with sliced green bell pepper & a smidge of salt
:clover:Plain lowfat yogurt with freeze-dried coffee & stevia mixed in (YUM!)
:clover:Nice little piece of fried sole with sliced 1/2 tomato (very Brit)

Keep up the good work!!!!!

{hi} there Mrs Peel

Reading your post goes like this: WOW.... WOOW... WOOOW...

Seems I'm turning into a Bow Wow Doggie {rofl}

It's really GREAT that you have dropped 2 pants sizes... and about your knees...

I'm excited to see how your progress will look at the end of your 8 weeks... also can't wait to see those photo's... all in good time though... all in good time!

What is going to be a real thrill though is seeing someone after 12 weeks who has not seen you prior to your starting your transformation...

Remember you live in your body, so it can be hard to see changes, but for those who have not seen you it is bound to be quiet a surprise! :flirt:

Thank you for always giving your special imput - you can see you're becoming a real hero here!!

As always, PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK of always following your eating plan 100%,
JUST THE WAY YOU HAVE BEEN! :bighug: from me xx

No need to get board on this diet!

Yes, you are right... all you need to do is follow Dr Cohen's instructions 100%... just for today... then tomorrow you do exactly the same ie: just for today... and before you know it, your first week will be done... everyday is a step closer to making your dreams and goals come true!!!

You can do it! {cheerleader} You just need to focus a little bit every day...
