Hi everybody! I'm still here! Hope you haven't forgotten me! :) We started school a couple weeks ago so I don't have much time to post. I do keep popping on everyday to check up on everybody.
You guys seem to be doing great! It keeps the diet fresh to me and easy to stay on when I follow how you all are succeeding. I just wish that there were more pics to look at. I keep going to the albums to see for myself what a difference this diet makes!
I've done well, so far. I've been 100% and my 4 week weigh in is next week sometime. I don't know whether to count my four weeks on the day I started the diet (Tuesday) or when Dr. Cohen said was my start date (Friday). I started the day after I got the diet and didn't wait until the start date they gave me.
Anyway, I'll let you know my results next week. I'm kind of scared that I'll get on the scale and still be only down those 7 lbs that I dropped the 1st week. I'm kind of antsy about the whole thing. I want to weigh, can't wait to weigh, but I'm scared to weigh....
Oh, another thing! I finally got my stove fixed on Thursday!!! I've been cooking outside on the BBQ for this whole month and I managed to stay on track! But if feels so nice and luxurious to be cooking in the kitchen again and to have an oven and more than one burner to work with. YAY! A funny thing, though, my 17 yo daughter went out and cooked her breakfast (eggs) outside yesterday, forgetting that the stove was fixed. We had a good laugh...
Have a great day!

I started the plan before the official start too. I always weigh on my unofficial start date and then a couple days later I go in and add it to the consultant page. Glad your stove is working. That would be a little irritating!!

Way to go, lovinlife!! I can't wait to find out how much weight you've lost! I guarantee it will be more than 7lbs!!! Probably at least twice that! I started the diet immediately too and that was the date I went by for my weigh-ins. I think they just give you like an extra week to buy your scale & vitamins, etc. so that start date they give you is more so they can keep track of when your 12 weeks is up. But 4 weeks on the diet is 4 weeks on the diet, so that should give you a good guideline of what you've lost in the first month. Great to hear from you! I'll be posting my after pics soon for ya! :)

Hi Lovin'
I can totally relate to your busy, hectic schedule with school starting!!! Is your daughter a senior this year? That is an exciting year.
Hang in there....and happy cooking!!

okay, I'm going to weigh on Tuesday, then! I'll let you guys know the results....
Phyllis, yes, my daughter is a Senior. It's very exciting but also hard because she has a heavy load this year. She left too many hard classes to the end... But live and learn. My second born is a Sophmore and learning from Big sis's mistakes....
Lauren, I hope your right about the weight loss... I just say to myself, "I'll be fine with 10lbs" and try not to get my hopes up...
Have a good weekend!

I have a question... I read somewhere that Cohen's closes down for the Holidays for a couple of weeks in Dec. and that you get those weeks tacked on for free. I'm not sure if the person meant everybody or just the people who visit the clinics. Does anybody know? It would be nice to have a couple of free weeks. I can't even find where I read that. Maybe on another board..

Hey,
Nothing new to say, I'm just still plugging along. I'm just trying to keep myself on the boards here so I'm accountable.
I need to expand my meal ideas. I have a whole list of recipes I printed off but I just keep making the same three things since I have them in my head and don't have to trouble myself much figuring out something new. I fix my food after my family's dinner and am kind of pooped out by then.
I'm entering into TOM week so I'm battening down the hatches and steeling myself against anything my body or emotions might throw at me to sabatoge (sp?) my diet. I know if I keep in mind that whatever I'm feeling is just hormones, I can handle it better. It's worked in the past with trying not to take it out on my family.
Oh, and I have to say it, while I'm thinking about it, Joy, I love your picture! You're beautiful!!!!!!!! I love seeing the person behind the posts. I need to put mine up, I've just always been camera shy. I do have a picture on my cell with two of my daughters (I'm sandwiched between them). Maybe they won't mind if I put that one up.... That way it's not just my face.
Blessings,
Nicole
