Okay everyone, so this is it. My 4 week update. I am proud to say that I've lost a total of 17 lbs (could have been more if I hadn't cheated last Saturday and Sunday! argh), but I am pleased with losing half of my total goal in the first month.
I often find myself tired,but I've been reading the threads (which I LOVE you guys for by the way, they help me so much!) and think I need to start taking a second vitamin during the day plus eat all of my fruits and crackers? I try not to eat the crackers and fruit, but I've sometimes been finding myself get dizzy everytime I get up from a sitting postion. Plus I'm slightly constipated, so feel bloated at the moment. Any help or suggestions would be great. I wish I would have lost 20 lbs, but oh well...can't win them all.

In any case..I went out to a function with my family, and I kept having people come up to me asking if I'd lost ALOT of weight. It made me feel so great! The clothes that I had been wearing are now (the pants) falling right off of me. I love that! Plus my husband (everytime he hugs me) keeps saying in shock how much skinnier I am now (he is used to me skinny, but 2 kids have changed that recently ;) ). I guess what I'm trying to say is that admist all the pains of this diet, that I am seeing the great side to it...

Got to run..my kids are calling me. Can't wait for more energy!

Advice please!
Love to ALL!!!

{hi} there MyMiaBody

{congrats} on having lost all of 17 pounds!!! {cheerleader}

WELL DONE!!! It is soooo rewarding when the compliments come in!! YAAAAAY!

Your first month is normally the best, so if you want to reach your goal in your 12 weeks, there’s NO time to eat wrong… cos it only slows your progress down! Focus hard and make it happen!!
{wave}

Happy Slimming!

Congratulations on your 17-pound weightloss!!!! That's great progress! I'm not happy to hear that you cheated last weekend, though. I'm sure that's what is causing you to feel weird. You put something in your body that threw off the whole program. DEFINITELY eat your fruit & crackers! They will help with the constipation, and you obviously need them for energy as well. Taking an extra vitamin couldn't hurt either. I'm glad you got right back on the diet after your derailment, though! Don't let that happen again now, if you want to be able to request refeed before your 12 weeks is up. You can do it! You think you feel skinny now? Wait until you're done! It's an AMAZING feeling!

I wrote my consultant because I am going through the dizzy spells many times in a day. She stated that my blood pressure is probably to low so I need to eat all my fruits and crackers. If I am having a rough day I am suppose to eat one more apple. She also stated to use just a little more salt and this might help. I am nervous about using more salt due to water retention.
No more cheating!! You don't want to have to sign up for another 12 weeks, do you?
Pam
Remember one cheat sets you back up to a week!!

Shasha and Lauren,

Thank you for the congrats! I am very excited about the ending of my first 4 weeks. Even though I did cheat (sigh), I am determined (if not more so now) not to do it again. I will not let cheating affect me in not being able to request my refeed program before my initial 12 weeks is up.
So far today I have eaten my crackers and had my vitamin. So far..so good. Not hungry and not tired. I didn't think about the fact that cheating would make such a huge difference in how my body would feel, but it has. Thanks for pointing that one out Lauren. I wouldn't have seen that otherwise. So, not only is it not good to cheat (period), but it's not good to cheat because it will throw my body off and make me feel physically awful. Ugh..so not going to do that again!
I can't wait to be skinny skinny. I just need to keep onthe boards because being reprimanded by you guys keeps me in line... it also keeps my hands busy while I type!

Thanks sooooooooooo much!

Pam,
Thanks for the input on the salt and blood pressure. (The water retention is a worry of mine too...) I didn't know that. That's why I LOVE this group!!!

Poster Gal,
Thank you~! Wohoo!!

Yeah MyMia!!! :applause: Stunning results eh? I'm so happy for you. I agree with everyone, no more cheats. Don't psych yourself out and say, "I did it last month and still lost a lot of weight" Instead think of how much faster the whole process will go if you refrain and stay 100% You can do it. congrats on your great gains, UUMMM, I mean losses!

I eat plenty of salt, but it's ground sea salt and it hasn't made me retain water or slowed my weight loss. Salt is very important for the body--it's in our blood, sweat, and tears, and if you don't have salt, your body gets unhappy and tired. So it won't hurt to have a little more salt in your diet. Especially for you exercisers out there--eat salt! And it's yummy too! :)

Hello everyone! I am having a wonderful day today and am wishing the same for you as well.

I have had my 8 week weigh in today and have been able to request my refeed program! That's right baby! Wohoo!!!!! I've done it!

They told me to request it when I was 5 lbs from my goal weight (which is 114). The goal weight the program had for me is 120, so in that aspect I've lost 1 lb more than what they suggested since I now weigh 119! Oh my!

Now for the refeed! Whew. I did it! I'm so proud of myself.

Thank you for all of your support!!! You guys are awesome!
