Awesome Lauren! We knew you could do it! You will be ready for your anniversary in no time!!Whipeeee! {boing}
I e-mailed my consultants, and they explained about ordering refeed. They said when they get my 4 week blood results that will be considered my order. I'm excited too! :laughing: Life has just been so crazy here. I have to find the time to get the test done. Are you feeling better?

Thanks for asking, Mary--I still don't feel so good cold-wise today, but my weigh-in sure brought my mood up! :) Thanks for answering my question--I guess I won't need another blood test, then! How exciting! What if we start refeed about the same time?! That would be cool...

I just found out yesterday that the Calcium/Magnesium tablets I've been taking contain soybean oil and have 20 calories and 2.5g of fat per serving, which I was taking twice a day because I exercise! Yowch! I had no idea! So I immediately bought a different kind of cal/mag tablet that doesn't have those things. Just wanted everyone to know. My one-a-day vitamin doesn't have enough cal/mag so I have to take extra besides my multi-vitamin.

Lauren,
Sorry if I mislead. Have you had your four week blood test? They want me to do it. If I wasn't clear in the earlier post, sorry. They said they will process my refeed after they get the results. Good luck, it will be fun if we can do it together. But as I thought about it, and read Shawn's post, I want to make sure that I have really retrained myself. I don't want to gain wieght back. As you have told us, that is too painful!
Good luck
Mary

Hey Mei Mei,

Yeah, I got my four-week blood test last Tuesday but haven't received the results yet. I was actually 9lbs away from goal then, and it was actually five weeks into the diet instead of four (by the time I got around to going). I think post-diet what's going to work for me is continuing to have strict rules to follow so I don't just throw everything out the window and go nuts. I'm going to look at my life as always being on this diet in my mind, but with different rules to follow. I'm really excited to give it a try and of course I'll keep everyone posted on how it works. :)

No way, Jose--I'm not going to leave you guys! Don't worry about that. I wouldn't have been able to do this without you guys, and you'll help keep me on track too. I've still got another month on the diet anyway, so no need to get sad yet! :) And you'll be done before you know it too--I can't wait to see your before/after pics! You'll be so proud of yourself!

Yay now I am happy again. You guys mean so much to me. I am totally trying to change my way of thinking. Shawn had some great points. No more watching the scale. If I stay on 100% no need to watch the scale constantly. It's just going to go down. I think in the past ( other diets) i got so use to getting on the scale everyday to make sure what I was doing was working. I know this works I just have to do it.

Lauren - Refeed already?!?! Didn't you just join back up a week ago????? Ok, well maybe a few weeks - but time flies by so quickly, and the weight just melts away!! I'm so happy for you. Great job - especially doing this on your travel schedule.

You'll have to stick around so that we have a few more "refeeders" on here to keep everyone up to date about life after 1PD. It's not as easy as one would think -- freedom has responsibilities. LOL

Congrats!

Hi there Lauren

:party3: {boing} :clapping3: {goodjob}

I am soooooo HAPPY for you!!!! (Sorry, ran out of smilies… but there’s a BIG HUG in there too!)

WELL DONE!!! And I’m thrilled to hear that you will be staying, although, I somehow knew you would… what thrills me even more is that soon we’ll get to see your photo’s!!! OH YEAH! OH YEAH!!! Really looking forward to the seeing those Skinny Sisters together!!!

You’re not likely to need another blood test as you’ve just been, only be sure to get those results, we don’t want anything delaying your Re-feeding Program and Dr Cohen cannot calculate Re-feeding without follow up blood test results…

Yes, it’s going to be great for you to do the Re-feeding Program alongside with Lauren – how excited you must be!!

Now it’s run to the finish line!!! So, stay strong!!!

{hi} there Shawn

YES!!! Your freedom gives you both the power and the responsibility to choose wisely…

Below are some thoughts on power that I want to share with you:

The more clear you are on what you want, the more power you will have.
- Unknown

The measure of the man is what he does with power.
- Pittacus

Of all manifestations of power, restraint impresses men the most.
- Thucyclides

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.
-Abraham Lincoln

So, remember to focus on what it is you want to achieve ie: stay slim and healthy then make healthy choices in what you eat - remember how you enjoy those smoothies ie: healthy foods! Resist the temptation to give into every temptation - otherwise what is the point of a treat? Stand strong! It's here where the rubber meets the road ie: day to day decisions...
