I've searched through my booklet and could not find anywhere the amount allowed for vinegar...apple/ balsamic. Is there a limit?
Thanks so much!

I read somewhere that two TBSP was the limit ~ but I'm not sure. You should ask your diet consultant at 1stpersonaldiet.net and post the "official" response so we can be sure to have the right answer. To be honest, I never even thought about a limit on vingar but I only used it to make dressing (1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water + spices).

Shawn,
Thanks for your speedy reply. You are the best! I was curious because I made a poached egg this morning in which I boiled the egg with water and a dash of apple cider vinegar. Then for lunch had lettuce, tuna, green pepper, and a mixture of water, balsamic vinegar, parsley, pepper, garlic ..etc. It was so yummy. I just feel like this is too easy and to tasty to be a diet, so am wanting to make sure that I am doing it all by the book.
I will ask my consultant as advised and post as soon as I get the 411.
Cheers!

Hi My Mia,
Welcome. You will love this forum--seems like you already do! I e-mailed my consultants with that very question. they said 1 tbsp. Not a lot...I marinate in it quite a bit, and drizzle it over my spin salad daily. It might be different for everyone, so you might e-mail your consultant.

Hey Mei Mei,
Thanks for your response. That gives me a guideline till my consultant emails me back. I guess that every nook and cranny can't possibly be in the book which is why I'm so grateful that I have a consultant. Makes life easier. Plus the recipe area of this forum is fantastic! There is stuff on there that I NEVER would have thought of. This place rocks my socks!

I just asked that question and was told only 1 Tablespoon because of it's sugar content. It can cause you to be more hungry.

If nothing else I know the diet works if you stick to it and i know it does not if you don't You will be shocked how quickly you lose weight and you will be to your goal in 12 wks I am sure.
Just remember you have less to lose than a lot of us so you might lose slower do not let that discourage you.
I know I am reading people losing 30 plus lbs in the first month but they have 120 plus to lose so I try not to beat myself up about it.
I am fighting to lose 20 lbs in 4 wks and I am not 100% sure I am going to do it but we will find out on friday. I really wonder how much I would of lost with out all my litte mistakes. I will find out in month 2 because I plan on being 100% although, your weigh loss slows down in months 2 so I am going to make my goal another 20 lbs and we will see what happens.

Hey Rachel,
yeah...I figured my weight loss would not be as fast as alot of the others, but I also know that if I didn't do this diet then I'd still be this size of me later on even with excercise..and such. I love the ideas and people of this forum already. Such a nice atmosphere. So what I need!
Thanks for being so great, and I know you can do it. No deviations because you are awesome!

Now I'm not sure if this is different for everyone, but it seems the consensus is 1 tbsp. That's the answer I got as well...
