Hello smrf amd welcome to the forum {hi}

The first few days are the hardest as your body still expects the previous quantities of food. {scream}

Once you are over the first few days, you will feel better. All of us here know so well how you feel and we all survived ...

Please be strong and keep in touch.

Hey, Smrf -

I find it helps a bunch to space your meals and snacks evenly every day, because after a while, your body realizes the food comes reliably like clockwork and stops yelling that it's hungry. If you have crackers or fruit halfway between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner, your system will adapt to the rhythm - not to mention your metabolism will be regularly stoked! ;)

Smrf welcome!! I agree - - hang in there, it gets easier and I really don't get hungry, it's more stress related at times for me, but I've stated in other posts that reading up on posts really helps to keep me on the right track. Also, like Mrs. Peel said, the fruits and crackers really help me too, and sometimes now I notice I don't even need them.

{hi} there Smrf

:bighug: Welcome to the 1st Personal Diet Forum!

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling hungry!! :crying:

:noway: For now, I recommend that you please avoid the cheese and the yogurt options because these are the least filling meals. Rather choose one of the more filling meat, chicken or fish options with veggies for now. Also, please take a second multi-vitamin at lunchtime, each day for the following 10 days.
I believe this will help to put the smile back on the Sm(u)rf-ie dial! (he he he)

For some people, chewing gum can also trigger hunger, so please be careful of this if you are feeling hungry.

If apples trigger hunger for you, you would need to eliminate these - rather choose other fruits from your list instead. You could try doing this for a day or two and see what happens.

It would be a good idea to read through your New Customer Guide again to check to make sure that you are following your eating plan 100% - any mistakes that you could be making can result in your feeling hungry.

If the hunger continues, please write to your consultant who will try to help you pin-point the cause.

Please remember that pre-mens some ladies (?) can suddenly report feeling hungry as well - the second vitamin should help with this :-)

As mentioned by Mrs Peel and Inger, spacing your fruit inbetween your meals is a good idea and this wonderful advise can definatley help a whole lot!!!

Hoping the hunger will soon be something of the past and that you will be back to Happy Dieting in no time! !!

{hi} there Smrf

(I keep wanting to call you Smurfie - he he he sorry!) {friendhug}

You are so right, talking with fellow diet buddies is Great! I'm really glad we have the Forum, it's going to encourage so many people and help us to make diet buddies :flirt:

If you feel like something sweet, you may cook your apple in a bit of diet cola flavoured soda in the microwave for about 3 ½ minutes and then allow it to cool and, pour off the excess fluid and then sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon and sweetener if desired. As a snack between your meals you can spoon this onto a cracker or two about 1/4 apple at a time = yummy diet apple crumble - really nice!

A nice sweet treat between your meals - you won't even feel like you are on diet! ENJOY :P
