Hi All
I just wondered if anyone else is keeping up with the Olympics???:weights2::elmer::clapping3::party3:
What wonderful coverage NBC is providing for us here in the States!
What's your favorite event? I've been enjoying watching Michael Phelps (swimming) as he's been living and training in Ann Arbor, MI which is about 15 minutes from my house.
My all time favorites are the Equestrian events but the tv coverage is poor for those....rats!

Phyllis,
Yes, we are watching! go Michael! My hubby is a U of M grad, and we are from Michigan, so we root for him extra hard!!! My favorite is the gymnastics. what grace, what strength. What perfect bodies--yes I know they are little kids...

Dara Torres is a great role model.....she's "old" and swimming like a teenager!! (I can say she's old cuz I am MUCH older!! smile.....) What a wonderful person in the pool and out!

I'm addicted to the Olympics. Mostly swimming and gymnastics. I'm stuck 1/2 way through a new book b/c I'm too busy watching Michael Phelps. It also keeps me distracted from the kitchen.

I too love the equestrian events and I agree the coverage isn't good. Go Michael Phelps! I live in Belleville (east of Ann Arbor) on the lake...sounds like we could be neighbors.
Have a great night.

Mary....I don't teach a class....I'm the computer tech support person for 7th/8th grade middle school. Each teacher has a laptop and we have 7 labs of 30 computers each....plus I support the student data base software program and anything else tech related!! I stay very busy!! But my mantra this school year is not to let the stress get to me.....I'm going to be more laid back and take things easier....I think stress makes my body want to store fat!!!!
Thanks for asking!!

Absolutely! And we probably eat more when we are stressed too. I used to teach high school, English and History. Now I am a full time mom :) Both hard, but rewarding jobs.
A friend of mine has a saying, "It just is." Sometimes, we just have to take a deep breath and accept what is going on. Remember, our god is in control.
Blessings,
Mary

I meant to say God. Pardon the typo.
