I just got back from a girl's weekend at the lake. As they sat around eating and drink, I looked around and realized that I was the skinnest person. YES!!!!!! that has never happened to me. My husband looked at a picture of all my girlfriends and I from the weekend and made the same observation. (I even have a friend who did the lap band 2 years ago.) I showed off my new body in my new bathing suit...My friends were amazed at my results. THANK YOU Dr. Cohen and my diet buddies.

AmyLynn..... your story made me chuckle. I had a similar experience last weekend though not with someone I consider my friend. I have a sister-in-law from my first marriage that I still run into occasionally because of the children I share with her brother. She is one of those people who gush kindness and hugs when she sees you, but then goes home and talks about you behind your back. {slapfight} Well, my grandchildren had a birthday party last weekend and normally, she wouldn't attend because it's a long drive for her. But, her daughter had recently married and she had lost a lot of weight for the wedding and so she came to the party, and I just knew that the reason she did was to show off her new figure and brag about her daughter's marriage. :eyebrow: Sad, I know, but that's just how she is. Well, much to my surprise, while she had actually lost a lot of weight -- I HAD LOST MORE!!!!!!! I was actually skinnier than her. It made my day!!!! Is that ugly????? :sadeyes: I know on some level it probably is, but boy was I grinning from ear to ear. :rolling2:

Yay AmyLynn!!! I am so happy for you and so proud of you. I know it hasn't always been easy for you but you've stuck to your guns and now you're reaping the rewards. What a wonderful feeling that must've been for you. That is so awesome!!

GettinSkinny - you too!! That is fabulous story about your sister in law. I'm so proud of you too. You are looking so good and I'm so thankful that you are sharing your pictures so regularly with us.

{hi} there GettinSkinny

Nobody enjoys being with people who are false… I mean gushing out kindness and hugs to your face, and then going home and talking behind your back is JUST NOT ON!

I always recon: Don’t get angry, just get even... :flirt:

In my mind that explains why you are feeling sooooo good, YOU GOT EVEN…

{rofl} ...EVEN BETTER!!! {rofl}

And the best part is you didn't have to stoop down, you did it merely by becoming a better person yourself... so she can put that in her hat while you become even Skinnier!!!

Sure wish I was a fly on the wall though.. Guess I'm being ugly too... sorry... can't help myself from wondering what she had to say behind your Skinny back now!?

Loved the Kitty!!!

Getting skinny, I was out in your post and you are making such great progress! I loved your comments about the fake people because I know that they are hard to face ~~congrads on losing more weight. I have similar people to deal with in my life but I don't live close to them. Your pictures looked great, I hope that I can do that well, I feel like my fat on my body is jello``Watch it wiggle see it jiggle, I hpe that it tones up a lot. Pleaes tell me that it does. I don't want to feel like Jello forever.

Getting Skinny... I am soooo happy you could strut your stuff. Go GIRL Go!!! There is nothing "bad" about your thoughts. You just show off that beautiful new body.

Bronwyn- Thanks! You are always there for me. It has been a very difficult 4 weeks. I have managed to stay the same weight. After the girl's weekend, I have rededicated myself to bring home the gold...only 16 lbs. to go.

Shasha- You are my best cheerleader. Thanks.

{hi} there AmyLynn

ONLY 16 POUNDS TO GO: {wave} wow!!! That’s fantastic!!!

Let’s see how FAST you can do this? {cheerleader}

Sometimes one can start to feel really comfortable when one gets to a GOOD weight… this can actually prevent us from reaching our BEST weight… and we DON’T want that to happen!

So, for now, focus on reaching your goal as quickly as you can and then on completing your Re-feeding Program so that you too can finish this first stage of your slim healthy new lifestyle…

Can you imagine the faces of your friends and family when you drop ANOTHER 16 pounds?!?! Sure hope you’ve got a shopping spree planed for after your Re-feeding Program… It’s going to be sooooo fantastic when you don’t have to weigh your food anymore….

Just a bit more hard work and YOU WILL BE THERE!!! At the finish line!!!

RUN AMY RUN!!! {cheerleader} THE RACE TO YOUR GOAL IS ON!!!
