I would like to introduce myself~ my name is Brenda, I am from Washington State and I have been on the diet 1 week yesterday. I think my body is getting use to it now, but boy, last week especially the 3rd and 4th day, talk about a GROUCH, my poor husband LOL, anyway... all is good now. The weekend was another concern of mine since we go camping and socialize quite a bit, but it was all good and easier than I thought. I know we are not suppose to weigh before 4 weeks, but it was an inspiration for me to and that is what keeps me going. I am down 10 pounds, unbelievable. I will try to refrain now, but can't promise =)

Anyway, I really enjoy the forum... I am truly inspired by all what I read, and I am learning so much about myself, such as the type of foods that I thought I didn't like really aren't so bad.

Well, back to work... hope everyone has a great week!

:love1:Brenda welcome!!!

I as well love this forum, if you feel down there is always someone to pick you up. Sounds like you are doing GREAT. :applause: That first week is awesome, is'nt it, i lost 11 lbs my first week so i know what your talking about. Of course, it slows down a little after that. :( but in the end it'll be all worth it. Keep up the good work. MIMI :love:

Hi Brenda
Congrats on the 10 lbs. Today is my first day and I am pretty sure I am not going to be able to wait a month to weigh myself. Today went good but I realized for the first time today why I was having a problem losing weight. It started with my son's lunch. I cooked for him and I realized I taste everything ( today I did not ) but I can't tell you how manye times I stopped myself, same with dinner. That was an eye opener. So I totally folllowed everything a 100% today and the only time it got hard was in the afternoon which is always my starving time. I drank lots of water and got through it. I am also a night grazer so I think I am going to go to bed early to solve that problem.
Once again congrats on the 10 lbs. I hope I will do as food my first week.
Rachel

Thank you all for the encouragement, I am a true believer. Not only has this opened my eyes about food and weight, but other habits in my life that I shall not go back to after the diet is over. Yes, I am sure my weight will not continue the path that it did this past week, but it was an inspiration to keep going =)

Good luck to all of you also... this forum is awesome.

Hey Brenda, Congratulations on the 10lbs.. Today is only my second day and I am already feeling so much better.. I don't know that I will last four weeks until I weigh either, lol.. I live back in Cali now but lived in Bellingham for 11 years, loved it! Actually I miss it but So. Cal and the beach life is nice too... The only thing I didn't like about WA is that its not on the way to anywhere (hardly anyone comes to visit) unless someone gets an urge to head to Canada that is... lol.. Well good luck, have a beautiful day.

CalamityJ~ you have an interested name, reminds me when I was growing up in a small town called Oroville, up by the Canadian border and we had CB's (ya, kinda of telling my age LOL), anyway... my CB name was Calamity Jane, how funny. I am now living in Yakima and have been here since high school. Nice because it is centralized and not to "rainy" LOL~ Look forward to more conversation with you... we can help each other!

Thanks for the support Bronwyn... it is pretty exciting... I just wished it would be sooner than later... but all good things come for those who wait!

Talk to you all soon~

{hi} there Brenda & Buddies

And so, before you know it… another week is past… and as long as you keep on the road of following your eating plan 100%, the days will add up to weeks and after a couple of weeks, you too will reach your goal!

Stay strong and remember, you can do it!!! {cheerleader}
