Hi all!
I havent been on in quite awhile, just alot of things going on, busy, busy, busy..... I have been able to stay on the diet, no problem there. So far I have lost 41 pounds!!! I have 9 more to go to reach my goal. I had to extend the diet in order for me to reach my goal. I am continuing the diet, but currently I am having major problems with my thyroid. I wont be able to see a doc until the 18th. I am thinking that maybe the extreme weight loss might be messing with my thyroid, but dont know for sure. But I am extremely happy about the 41 pounds!!!

{hi} there Tiggerjbc's

{congrats} on having lost an incredible 41 pounds!!!

WOOOOOWWW!!!! {goodjob} I’m so very happy for you!!!

Sorry to hear that your thyroid is acting up – yes, this will be something that your personal doctor needs to look at for you…

If you need blood tests for your doctor, write to your consultant and ask if there are any outstanding blood tests required for Dr Cohen to calculate your Re-feeding program when you are 5 pounds from goal weight – I’m thinking that maybe you could do these all together… (Dr Cohen won’t use your thyroid tests – I’m only thinking in terms of taking time to go to the Lab etc.)

KEEP GOING, YOU’RE ALMOST THERE!!!! {cheerleader}

well done.
you have done an amazing job!!!!

i have thyroid disease and some other endocrine/hormone issues.
i chose this program to help me...i doubt (but i am not a doctor) that the weight loss or foods eaten would adversely affect your thyroid gland.

please do let us know.

{hi} there Bitten

I’m also no doctor, but I think as one becomes smaller / healthier some people may need less medication… It won’t hurt to double check with your personal doctor who knows all your history when you see him or her again… :thinking: just to be on the safe side...
