Well just gone 7am had a bit of sleep last night after being full of ENERGY ALL DAY yesterday and going to bed at 12:30am!I have noticed with the energy its JUST enough to make u feel well what I mean is as soon as you get physically active one starts to tire so I am keeping my physical activities to a Minimal as much as I can because I don't want to feel TIRED!:innocent4:DAy 7 and tomorrow I go drop my children at the AIRPORT to fly to University and School respectively I will be away two days and one night I am a bit apprehensive because its the first time I must plan packed foods and I am deciding to take tin tuna which smells a bit like fish when its open (Maybe because it is FISH) or to take precooked meat and chicken and to use a salad as my meal base!(Descisions!!!) I must pack all the fruit and buscuits and I must eat every 5 Hours!I am worried if I will be tempted but My children and MOM say they will eat away from me so eating on my own for now no problem!Otherwise I feel fine full of beans and rearing to go !I will be offline for two days LUCKY DIET BUDDIES don't have to hear my waffling for two days!Ha Ha:innocent3:

Oh Pumbza! We will miss you while you are away. Good luck with the overnighter trip. Have you checked the travel tips in these forums? There are a LOT of good suggestions and advice. Sounds like you've got a good plan going so just stick to it & you'll be fine. If there is a hiccup in your plan along the way do NOT use it as an excuse to deviate. There are stores and restaurants everywhere where you can find diet-friendly foods. The tuna is a great idea and hard-boiled eggs also travel well. Again, best of luck my friend and be sure to let us know how it goes.

{hi} there Pumbza
:eyebrow: Sounds very interesting…
:thinking: remember you will need to pre-weigh your meat raw before drying it and then keep the portions together to have the correct sizes ie: 100 grams stays together to make your Meal 2 etc…
ENJOY !!!{cheerleader}

Hi there shahsa I used everything in my NEW CUSTOMER GUIDE as follows:-sprite zero balsamic vinegar dried chillis coriander powder cumming seed powder salt pepper my base is sprite zero and balsamic vinegar the rest are just for spices I could just use salt and pepper!I have marinaded for two days and I hung the pieces up this morning!Good question how long do u hang them up it depends how dry u want them I like my meat to still Squeel or Moo while its on my plate I think the restraunts have a terminology they call it BLUE or RARE!So I will start using the pieces in a day or two(Ok OK I know I am a SAVAGE - But I think my mother still loves me??):innocent4:The IDEA is to not only eat TUNA on the road now I can cut this wind dried meat and add it to the salad it will make great salad and a big difference as well!Its also easy to transport it does not need to be refrigerated and is portable and all one has to do is prepare the salad!As I have said I am away for 11 days and when I have to hit the road or go somewhere on the raod I can use the jerky/biltong or tuna for quick meals!Have a GREAT day!!!:innocent3:

{hi} there Pumbza
Dr Cohen says that Red chilies are not allowed because they trigger hunger and interfere with Growth Hormone production but you may use green chilies in moderation to flavor your food providing they don’t trigger hunger for you – about 3 times a week or so is fine.
:cop: Remember you are not allowed to use red or yellow bell peppers either – only the green peppers are allowed.
All chilies are NOT created equal… you get many different kinds and many different strengths. I think some change color as they become riper but I believe Mrs Peel and Shawn are more specialized in this field than me. :thinking: chilies powder is often made from red chilies so if you want to use chilies, the best would probably be to buy the green fruit or maybe even get your own LITTLE HOT PLANT :flirt:

Hi Pumbza,
Just going through the boards in more detail because I'm awake extra early this morning. Most peppers will turn red (or orange or purple) if you leave them on the vine long enough. The color change away from green is the natural ripening of the pepper. The peppers become more "sweet" because of the natural sugars produced in the ripening process. Once you pick a green pepper, it will very rarely continue to ripen to the full red that it could have become had it been left on the vine.
So as I understand it, you're correct in that all peppers will eventually change color if allowed to ripen on the vine. The key here is picking the peppers while they're still green so that we don't get the extra sugars that come along with the bright red color.
Interestingly, chili peppers are thought to be hotter when green and sweeter/more flavorful when red. For dried peppers I think most people allow the peppers to ripen fully before drying.
I bought a jalapeno pepper plant a day or two after Mrs Peel mentioned that they were ok to have ... four months later I'm still waiting for it to produce a pepper. It did have two little flowers .... but still no pepper. Oh well, I suppose when gardening patience is a virtue!
Hope all is well,
Shawn

Hi there Pumbza
{uhm} There’s no point in setting your best friend on fire!!!
{noway} What a stupid thing to do!!! {duh}
I’m very happy to have my hubby as the head of our home!
Now some of you may be wondering just where does that leave me??
Well, shall we say that if my hubby is head, I would officially be in the position of being the neck…
I’m really cool with that!!! It’s absolutely awesome being the neck… {cheerleader}
Have you ever tried turning or moving your head without the permission or use of your neck???
pumbza

{hi} there Pumbza
I’m sure we have a marriage made in heaven… :cloud9: BUT… we still live on earth… which obviouslly means that sometimes the Head gets to have a real Headache and sometimes the Neck gets to be a real pain in the Neck… but that’s life…
It’s about working it out together, living in peace and walking in love and helping each other and having some fun while you’re at it…
I once heard someone say that you get to choose the one you love and then you need to choose to love the one you chose… :love5:
