Hey everyone, just a quick question:

Does Caffeine Free Diet Coke count as a deviation? Only Diet Coke is listed in the customer guide but I figured taking the caffeine out wouldn't make it worse, you know? I love that we can drink Diet Coke on this program, but I don't like being addicted to caffeine so I only drink Caffeine Free. Is that bad because it's different from regular Diet Coke? Please someone tell me because I'm really craving a can right now! :)

{hi} there Shiftergal

Caffeine free diet cola is better than plain diet coke and it most certainly is allowed on the 1st Personal Diet Program.

The reason I say it is better is because too much caffeine can cause water retention and slower weight loss down.

So you can enjoy your diet soda without the caffeine :party7:

Oh gosh, thank you so much! My weight loss has slowed down significantly these past few weeks and I was so worried that it was because of my caffeine free diet coke! So glad to know that it's not!

{hi} there Shiftergal

:rolling: HOW MUCH diet soda have you been drinking??? :party4: remember it's 1 liter tops!

Are you still having all your water every day?

Remember, certain plateau’s are a normal part of the program, they give your body the time it needs to ‘shrink’… but, even if you stand still on the scale you should still be burning fat {cheerleader} so please just keep on going.

Don't worry, I've been drinking less than the max amount of soda every day, and I always drink at least two liters of water. I'm working at a fruit stand this summer (in Utah, thank goodness, not Arizona) and I'm constantly drinking water. And I'm not really worried about my slowed weight loss anymore. Everyone says that's typical, so I'm gonna try and be patient instead of whining and acting like I'm the only one who this happens to. :) Sorry for the whining everyone! This is the first weight loss program that has EVER worked for me AT ALL and I'm so desperate to not mess it up!

Hey Shiftergal! No worries about whining - we are all entitled!!! Yes - the slower loss is very normal, especially the closer you get to goal, but do notice that I'm sure you are still steadily going down, down, down in weight and know that you will get to your goal. I am still in awe of this diet and cannot believe how well it works!

{hi} there Shiftergal

:thinking: if it’s very hot there where you are, maybe take a second multi-vitamin each day at lunchtime… I think this can really help you to stay strong {wave}

Please keep up the {goodjob}
