I started the diet the day after Christmas to get a feel for it before starting my "Official 12 week program" - which begins today! It has been great. I have already lost 10 pounds.

However, I have a question... regarding the crackers that I can eat. I am having a problem with the ingredients that you sent as I can not seem to understand them. Sorry. I did pick up low sodium premium nabisco saltine crackers. The ingredients are: (Serving size on package is 14g)

Calories 60, calories from fat 10
Total Fat 1.5 g
Saturated Fat 0 g
Trans Fat 0 g
Polyunsaturated Fat 0.5 g
Monounsaturated Fat 0 g
Choloestorol 0 mg
Sodium 25 mg
Total Carbohydrate 11 g
Dietary Fiber 0g
Sugars 0 g
Protein 1 g

My question is, are these ok? Or, what other options do I have in the US for crackers? A specific brand and type would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Juliene and welcome on board {hi}

A day after Christmas is a wonderful day to start your diet :)

The list of cracker ingredients is really hard to compare as our customers use crackers all over the world. In the USA we use mostly Saltine Crackers. For the full list, please see our crackers page at

Wishing you a wonderful happy new year with 10 pounds less

Thank you so very much. I am really glad that the saltines work as that is what I have been using. I am really exciting about this eating plan as it is really easy to follow. I really like being told this is what you can eat and this is what you can not eat. It makes it so much easier!

I am looking forward to continued success and meeting my goal weight!

{hi} Juliene

{congrats} on having already lost 10 pounds!!! We are so proud of you!!!

I want to share a little diet cookie cracker tip with you to turn your crackers into a delicious tea-time treat - just in case you ever feel like a little something sweet: mix some powder sweetener with cinnamon in a shaker. Sprinkle over your crackers to make delicious tea-time treats.

If you feel like a more crispy cookie you can even bake these in the oven. I'm told that you can even use nutmeg and sweetener but I like the cinnamon so much I've honestly never tried it.

Hope you enjoy! and, once again {goodjob}

PS: Those little used herb bottles make handly little shakers perfect for the job!
