Friday was my 16 weeks but you know I like to weigh in on Sunday and do my measurements then. I confess I have also been weighing in more frequently then allowed because at this point in the job, the scale isn't going to discourage me.

Today's results

Weight 150.5 for a total of 44.5 lost so far.

Notice for those of you losing weight a bit slower then some of the folks on here, that you are not alone. My body has been following the slower plan even though its not what I hoped for. I've not cheated at all except for weighing in more then allowed. I'll take whatever I can get frankly and I'm not stopping till goal.
Overall I'm thrilled. :))

Measurements currently are:

Arms - 10.8 (down almost 2 inches)
Upper Th - 20.2 (down 3.3 inches)
Hips - 39.2 (down 6.8 inches)
Waist - 32 inches (down 11.5 inches) Now that I can find my
actual waist, I have switched my measurements to there.
Chest - 35 inches (down 8.1 inches)
Between waist and chest area - 30.4 (down almost 10 inches)

Only 10.5 pounds to go and 5.5 pounds to requesting refeed!

I'm with ya LesKiya! It's nice to know I'm not alone. I just finished week 14 and that dang scale hasn't moved for the last 12 days...aaaarrrrgggghhh. I am a guilt-free daily weigher. The only reason I get away with it is because it keeps me motivated either way - to keep it going down if it goes down, and to MAKE it go down if it doesn't. Right now it seems to be fighting back. The bad part about this all is that I'm STARVING!!! And I'm still 14 pounds from low goal. )=

Congratulations on your measurements! You're doing great - can't wait to hear your adventures through re-feed!

My 16 week weigh in was Saturday. Current Weight: 154 lbs. (11 lbs loss this month/ 48 lb. total) and another 2 inches off each of the areas. Hopefully, I can get the remaining 24 lbs off in the next 8 weeks. Cross your fingers.

Yay Leskiya! Good, good, good for you! Yes - my loss has been as slow and steady as yours, but at least it's been steady, huh? Sounds like you're doing great and will be ready for refeed pretty soon! Exciting stuff! You're doing so well!

Amylynn! Great job to you as well! And this is with your little hiccup you had a couple of weeks ago! Glad you're back on track and going strong. You're getting close too - on the home stretch now! Keep it up - it is so worth it!

{hi} there Iisrias

{sorry} to hear that you are feeling hungry. Please avoid the yogurt and cheese options for now as these are the least filling meals. Please do take a second multi-vitamin each day at lunchtime, I believe this will help, but remember that your vitamin B6 level must be below 5 mg per day...

:comfort: hope you feel better soon. You may take a fibre supplement such as Duphalac, Linseed or Psyllium Husks while being on the program, this can fill a double role of keeping you full and regular...

AmyLynn,

Fingers are crossed for you. I have tried to cut my fruit and cracker snacks down by one less then allowed everyday. I want to get done and that I believe is helping. Somedays I just can't do it but about half the days I'm managing to leave one off.

Well done!! You're progress has been an inspiration to me!!! My weight loss has been slow going (26 lbs in 8 weeks). But, from reading your progress, I'm trying to stay in the moment and just enjoy losing ANY weight is an accomplishment!! :party1:

{hi} there Poetically-Yours

I would like for you to please read your New Customer Guide, pages 10 and 11 where Dr Cohen suggests the following points:

Only weigh once a month, and note the difference in clothes size.

The body does go through stages during the weight loss where is might seem as if you are not losing actual weight (on the scale), but note the drop in clothes size!

Remember that you are still breaking down fat during these “plateau” periods, but the growth hormone is dissolving the fat in the water so you will weigh water when you get on the scale, and you’ll notice that you are not running to the rest room as often in this period!

If you weigh only once a month, you will focus on the total loss for the month, and the small plateaus in between will not de-motivate you!!!!!

In the light of the above, please don't be discouraged and please continue to follow your eating plan 100% because you may very well be going through a normal weight loss plateau...
