Hi All,

So Monday was my official 16 week weigh in and it was my TOM. I weighed anyway and here are my results after 16 weeks on 1PD:

38.2 pounds lost
Chest: 6 1/2 inches GONE!
Waist: 9 inches GONE!
Hips: 7 1/2 inches GONE!
Stomach: 8 1/2 inches GONE!
Left Leg: 4 inches GONE!
Right Leg: 3 3/4 inches GONE!
Left Arm: 2 inches GONE!
Right Arm: 2 inches GONE!

I have gone from 163.4 pounds to 125.2. From a size 12 or 14 to a size 2 or 4.

I have to admit I weighed again this morning and I was at 123.8 so down even more! I took my final blood test yesterday morning and will request my refeed program when I forward the results to the consultants.

Thanks to ALL of you who have been here with me on this journey. You made it so much easier for me and I couldn't have done it without the support from all my diet buddies on this site. I promise I'll continue to support you while I'm on refeed and ever after. I am enjoying watching your progress and I love the friendships we have grown to share here on this forum.

Thanks Iisrias and Shasha! I love you guys and I'll continue to support my fellow dieters long after I'm done. Plus - I'm sure I'll continue to need support to as I begin to live my "life after the diet". But I'm not there quite yet either so I'll be here. Thanks for the well-wishes and positive thoughts. I am very excited!

{hi} there Bronwyn

:bighug:
From one HOT BABE to another HOT BABE: YOU’RE SIMPLY THE BEST!!! :love7:

It’s always wonderful to watch someone’s real life progress, but the truth is I can’t help feeling a little sad when Diet Buddies go MIA in the afterlife… Staying around will mean so much to en-route Diet Buddies, not just because they are curious about the big wonderful world of Re-feeding, but because they want to know how you are doing? Is it easy, are you managing? What is it like to follow the New Lifestyle based on Dr Cohen’s Maintenance Guidelines? I believe the Diet Buddies want to know from various sources how they find the AFTER DIET LIFE… and if it is difficult or if you find it easy...

It’s not the same when they hear it from a moderator, they want to hear it from a fellow Diet Buddie who they have come to know, trust and love… so, sharing your journey will be a great source of inspiration to others who are yet to walk this road.

I for one would really appreciate if you stay and of course, we are here to support you and to encourage you NEVER EVER EVER TO LOOK BACK! Staying in touch means that we can help you to make small wise decisions and to correct small thinking errors before they become a problem, so, thanks for deciding to stay, now I’m JUST AS EXCITED FOR YOU AS YOU ARE!

{wave}

Please let us know when you get your Re-feeding program and also how many days you got, when you will be starting (remember you start at goal weight)… and, how you feel as you go along, day be day…

Shasha - Thank you so much for your kind words. I love the support of this forum and I hope I am helping others by putting in my two cents now and then. I agree that I have LOVED reading posts from such 1PD stars as Gail, Azkat, and others who have successfully gone through the program and are keeping their weight off. Even their struggles are helpful to read through and to admire them as they work through them to keep their new, healthy bodies and lifestyles.

Bitten - Thank you for the kudos! At times it certainly didn't feel fast (and I'm still a few pounds away from even starting refeed) but looking back it really was fast. I guess especially considering that I've battled this weight for going on 15 years now and never had this type of success. Hmmm.... 15 years vs. 16 weeks... I'll take 1PD any day!
