hello lovely 1st personal gang-

well after 4 very quick weeks on dr. cohens prescription.
i am down 23 lbs. i will measure myself very soon and post those results as well.
i feel 100% better than i did on april 9th.
my moods, my PMS, my sleep, my sense of humor are all improved. i am not hungry really, perhaps emotionally hungry at times. my skin looks wonderful and I JUST FEEL GOOD.
i have not had a panic attack at all (one of my issues) or heartburn or upset stomach (from sugar and carbs and wine!!!)

please, if you are new, just know that this works if you work it, so work it 110%....you must not think you are smarter than dr. cohen. you cannot tweek this or change or deviate.
i have been 100 % and i think 23 lbs is super.

yes, i was hoping for more, actually a lot more. when i read a story like gail's, i do wonder..."why not me?????" i am hoping that i can be done ASAP and that is why i am 100%, i do not want to be obese any longer than i have to.
so, what can i do to lose more????
other than 100% OP????

i do not know, but i intend to try.

Hi Bitten!

It's me under a different name, (losinit08), from the other board. I had originally tried to post on this forum and it didn't take for a while and I just kept the original name on here. Just FYI. Checking in to say Hi! You are doing so well! Thanks again for referring me here. I will be looking around today!:party6:

Hi there Bitten!! WOWWWWEEEEEE!!!! That is remarkable weight loss for the first four weeks. I'm so, so proud of you and happy for you. We do tend to get a little spoiled on this diet and always want it to go faster and faster. The truth is that is does steadily come off and it does work. You're off to an amazing start and are so dedicated. Don't worry about when it will be finished, just know that it will be finished and your new body will be well worth any extra time it takes. You could very well be done in the 12 weeks, but most of us are taking two sessions so just know that might happen and make peace with that too. I'm so happy for you and proud of you!

Bitten, you must be so proud of yourself!! Don't spend time comparing yourself to others' progress, though - we are all different and begin the plan with different hormonal issues. As I am nearly halfway through my second 12 weeks, I can tell you that it doesn't seem that long. I can't believe how I've changed and every week continues to bring about more improvement!

Congrats, my friend, and keep it up!

hello lovely folk....
hi bronwyn and katra (my buddy) and mrs. peel-

thanks for thinking of me and wishing me well.
i really do not i think i will be able to lose another 72 lbs by july 2nd (end of 1st 12) BUT i do want to be done and dusted in 24 or less!!!! i will do my utmost to get there ASAP.
september 24th does not seem that far away AT ALL!!!!
i guess my biggest issue is we are set to travel at the end of september. i want to be done and through re-feed, as i will not travel like this ON PLAN, so i will come off and re-feed and then re-start, if need be.
BUT, this goes against my beliefs. re-starting for some never happens....but i feel that if (and i will!!!) re-feed to the letter and control myself strictly whilst traveling i have a better than average chance of achieving my desire.
so that is my main fear and my main goal for now.
i feel with my attitude, my commitment, and positive visualization (thanks perfect weight!!) a i stand a decent chance of being the person i truly want and deserve to be.
i know i can do this, it is up to me and only me!!!!

thanks for reading my chaotic ramble-

I know you can do this! Oh yes I do. I also love the idea that you already have a plan, that is so positive and inspirational. I agree with Mary you should go out and buy yourself a present! I like the idea of shoes and my friend who lost all that weight had to go out and get all new shoes at the end because her feet got smaller. So don't spend too much, or get a necklace or pair of earrings which are not size specific and you will be able to display all of your prizes at the end! I am working on list of prizes I am going to give myself at 20lb increments and when I reach my goal I think I will go on a nice vacation, after re-feed of course!

Keep it up! You are doing a miraculous job!

Hi Bitten,

Can you believe that in four weeks you are down 23 lbs? That is incredible!

I know there are plenty of months that have just flown by without even noticing (not so much this month, at least not for me{explode}), but this month you have changed your life completely. You are heading towards your goal (and FAST, I might add). I'm so happy for you! You sound super motivated and I'm sure the months and the lbs lost will start flying by.

I love your schedule of presents. I am so worried about spending money on clothes I will just grow out of, but the shoes and jewelry, that's a good plan.

To keep motivated, I put away a certain amount of money each week into a fund I will use to buy my goal weight wardrobe. That keeps me motivated to stick to it 100% and get to goal ASAP, then I get to go on a shopping spree! {mischievious}

Congratulations on 23lbs! WOW!

Hi Bitten,

Congratulations on your success! Keep up the good work the weight does come off steadily.
I noticed you bought a pair of the MBT sandals. What a great purchase! I have had my eye on those sandals for a couple of months now. I was curious as to how they feel. Thank you for mentioning that because I really want a pair too! I will make my purchase soon thanks to you.
Thanks,
Faith

thanks for all they lovely well wishes-surfergirl and momof4 and faith darling-
i am hoping to get my blood test referral today and have that done and see if my program changes or stays the same...i am so curious how his all works, but i just feel so, so much better. and 25 lbs lighter!!!

faith- i love the MBT sandals. they are super comfy but taking getting used to (a few days at most) they work my legs, bum and hips. and my posture is getting better. if you decide on a pair there are some online sites that have great prices (as you know they are NOT cheap!!!) and free returns, unless you have tried them on in a store you may want to try a few sizes as some folks think they run small. i am a 9.5-10 and i wear a 10 in MBT's. they are fabulous, i love them. i walk everywhere, too.
