I just completed my 4th week and have losts 13.6 lbs! {elmo}{elmo} How long before I received the order for my second round of blood work?
I was also wondering if I can double my egg whites if I don't eat the yolk? Also, can I substitute yogurt for something else?
what are some other alternatives to the breakfast menu or meal 1?

{hi} Peavine
{congrats} on having lost 13.6 pounds in 4 weeks. Well done!!
Once you send your consultant your current progress they will advise when you should go for your blood test and send you the details regarding this.
You may have 2 x egg whites instead of 1 whole egg in MEAL 1.
You may have plain soy yogurt instead of normal yogurt.
Normally MEAL 1 consists of either egg and veg OR cheese and veg OR yogurt. Some clients are allowed to have fish and veg. depending on what Dr Cohen has advised.
You could ask your consultant if it would be possible for you to have a TOFU option with MEAL 1, that is if you eat TOFU.
These are the only options for MEAL 1.
Please keep up the good work by always following your eating plan 100%.

Thanks Sasha for the prompt reply. I just sent in my numbers to the consultants...{{wave}
I tried microwaving tomatoe with salt & pepper and then chopping up boiled egg...not too bad. :)
I will let you know what they say about the tofu but will definitely do the egg whites also.
How do you make fish for a morning meal?:thinking:

{hi} Peavine
I am sure the consultants will write to Dr Cohen and let you know what he says shortly.
{uhm} Fish for breakfast... well, I know what I would do if this way the only choice I had, I would simply swop MEAL 1 and MEAL 2 around, have the cheese and veggies for breakfast and the fish for lunch... but that's just me... :nerd:
Some clients may actually enjoy fish for breakfast because it will be quiet a filling meal. You could steam it, or fry it - I like the sounds of your tomato with salt and pepper in the microwave and, just thinking about it: fish with a bit of balsamic sprayed on top, covered in veggies could be quiet nice. Perhaps use a slice or two of tamato, 5 g of onion just for taste and a couple of mushrooms chopped up. You could even add a bit of green pepper if you like. Add a bit of herbs and give it another spray of balsamic vinegar. You can then microwave this for about 3 minutes or until the fish is cooked. I think this can be quiet nice.
I'll keep it mind for if I ever run out of eggs or cheese... :flirt: Will certainly make the fish for lunch anytime!

I still have not heard from the consultants regarding my blood work after 4 weeks.{scream}
I don't want to harrass them but won't they be gone for their holidays? {uhm}
I will think about swapping those meals...I guess I just get into the habit of reading the diet in order.{duh}
Thanks

{hi} Peavine
That is terrible, but, in this case I'm sure that the consultants did not get your blood test results and recommend that you write to them and let them know. Normally Dr Cohen will give you feedback in up to 5 working days from the time that he receives your results back from the Laboratory.
So, I'm thinking your results did not make it through... {uhm} the sooner you contact them, the better. Holidays only start on 15 December and so you can still get an answer before then... Did you get a copy of your results back from the laboratory? In that case, please send it through to your consultant right away and someone will acknowledge receipt of it and send the results through to Dr Cohen.
Did you hear about the TOFU yet? How will you make it?

MMMMmmm :drool: I tried this on saturday and it was delicious! For morning meal take an apple, slice it up, put it in a pot on the stove add a little water, splenda, and cinnamon. Stir until heated and thick. And there you have it! yummy warm apple sauce! Stir it hot into your yogurt so tasty! you can even smear it on your crackers like jam. I know you'll love it.. Tell me what you think :drool:

I still did not get any reply wrt blood work or change anything. They just told me to eat everything instead of making the fruits & crackers optional.
I guess now, I'll have to wait until after the 15th of January for them to reply.
Disappointed.:confused:

Hi peavine
We (the Moderators) cannot check your blood test records or answer specific question related to your record as a customer, as we do not have access to these customer files. Our role here is to help the forum members. The consultants help customers individually.
I know that all blood test results that arrived until 12/15 were recorded, saved and handled. It happens sometimes that results do not arrive. You should then check with the doctor / lab (or with DLS in the case the blood test was ordered through them).
The consultants are off until New Years. I suggest you write your consultant after 1/1 to check this matter. No need to wait until 1/15. Fruit and crackers are optional as explained in your customer guide and you do need to eat all the food "prescribed" for you by Dr Cohen.
Frenchy06 -
Thanks for the great idea. I tried it this morning and really loved it :)
although, I must admit, I would still prefer a nice Chocolate Brownie {mischievious} - but, I guess, that's why I had to be on this diet {duh}....

I LOVE YOUR APPLE JAM: love:!!! Thank you, this made my day!!!
Maybe you want to try my kiwi jam too! I just mash them up with a fork, add splenda and eat on crackers - careful though, eveyone else in the house will want some too!
Your apple sauce recipe is really :cool:

HEY MAMA! :peace:
How come when you mix water and flour together you get glue?
And then you add eggs and sugar and you get cake?
WHERE DID THE GLUE GO?
Need an answer???
YOU KNOW VERY WELL WHERE THE GLUE WENT!!!
THE GLUE IS WHAT MAKES THE CAKE STICK TO YOU!!! {rofl}
