Does anyone know what these numbers mean? I have looked at all my numbers and they have stayed relatively the same from my very first one (pre-diet) to my 12 week blood work. Is that what is suppose to happen? Just curious.

Again, this is a place where a little more information would be appreciated.
Mine as well are relatively the same, and I have gotten the checklist at all my check ups.
I do know that 1 or 2 points and sometimes fractions can tell a lot, but what does it actually show? I would like a better description instead of "your results show that you are not using the plan exactly as Dr. Cohen has recommended".

We are educated people and need the information to work the program to the ultimate end!!!!

{hi} there Everyone

Dr Cohen compares your follow up blood test results to your initial blood test results and from this he can see if your program needs to be changed or if you need to change the way in which you are following your program.

Your Blood test results show Dr Cohen if you are following your eating plan 100% or if you are making small or even big mistakes and not following your eating plan correctly.

Dr Cohen uses his many years of research and data to calculate the results of your blood tests using his tried and tested formulas.

I don't have access to any of this information, so I have no idea what all the individual points would indicate or how they should or should not change. {oops} {sorry}

Anway, the way I see it, thankfully you and I don't need a medical degree to get slim and healthy and well again... we can simply let Dr Cohen do his work {wave}

I agree, Shasha... eventhough I would like to have little more information about everything (THANKS TO YOU I UNDERSTAND THINGS MUCH MUCH BETTER:party1:), I think it's totally cool for dr.Cohen to keep it a secret.
He's da man:applause:!!!!!

{hi} there Maya

:thinking: ...Nobody said that you cannot type in words and look them up in Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. You may certainly do your own research studies on all health related issues.

If you look up the word INSULIN, you get the following interesting information on the Wikipedia website:

Insulin is an animal hormone with extensive effects on both metabolism and several other body systems (eg, vascular compliance). When present, it causes most of the body's cells to take up glucose from the blood (including liver, muscle, and fat tissue cells), storing it as glycogen in the liver and muscle, and stops use of fat as an energy source.

When insulin is absent (or low), glucose is not taken up by most body cells absorbed and the body begins to use fat as an energy source.

I am most appreciative of Dr. Cohen's research. I have a much skinner body to show for it. I was just curious if the numbers were suppose to stay the same. Thanks!

{hi} there AmyLynn

Did you get a Check List to read through? If not I think you are doing the program 100% and don't see why your blood results should change.

If there was a Check List please double check to see that you're not making any mistooks that could slow you down... :bighug:

I'm really don't know if the blood tests are suppose to go up, go down or stay the same - I really can't tell and honestly believe that only Dr Cohen would be able to tell by looking at your file.

Did he say he was satisfied with your results? :thinking:

All I can say is that your weight loss is LOOKING GREAT!!! {wave}

I did get the list AGAIN!!!! I can't seem to find what I am doing wrong, but I am sticking with it. I am going through everything I am doing and taking a second look. I am happy with my weight loss progress....well...I wish it was faster, but I'm getting there.
