I was sitting here thinking about all my diet buddies who have been around awhile with me. I started to generate a list of us second rounders....Brownlyn, Leskiya, lfulwood, Mrs. Peel, Megsy (?)... Who am I missing?

I wanted to give out a shout to these girls for sticking with this diet and give them a big hug :bighug:for their dedication.

We'll have to change our names to the "Life After Club" soon and join our other diet buddies who are already there waiting for us.

Hi, AmyLynn!

There are a bunch of us, aren't there? MrPeel is also in his second 12 weeks, and will be posting his results today.

I hit the 16 week mark yesterday, weighed in at 192, and got my latest blood test. As I am averaging 4 lbs. a week in losses, that means in the next 8 weeks I might lose another 32 lbs., which puts me at exactly 160 - Dr. Cohen's target weight for me! I however want to get to 150, but I may just work on that during re-feed and with added exercise.

I'm sorry I left out our sweet Mr. Peel. I can't wait to hear his results. I am jealous that you are still loosing that much weight each week. I am down to 2 lbs. per week.

Well, I certainly can't explain it, although perhaps my age has something to do with it - that, and being post-menopausal. I follow the plan strictly, but I rarely eat all 3 fruits as I don't much like fruit.
But I am excited to say I have travelled from a 40 waist to a 33 waist!!!!!

Thanks Hugentobler for the shout out!

The thing that keeps us going is the successes we are having, no matter how big or how small it may be! (Even if you get the checklist every blood test) It is working and we will not stop until we are where we are supposed to be!

I am so excited about getting the refeeding program-only 5 more pounds before I can request that! ????? next week maybe???????

Hugen, my weight loss has been in the 2 pounds a week range also so dont get discouraged. I had my blood test done today and I'll give an official weight start out tomorrow for the second twelve. I know its down a bit over the last few days. I'm really excited to be getting closer but I know its not over yet. Good job to all of us is all I have to say! I've got several friends looking over the web site currently as they about fell over when they saw me recently. :) How fun is that!

Hi all!
Just thought I would chime in. Congrats to all of us who have signed up for a second round and are determined to reach our goals.
I broke the fat barrier a few days ago. I hope to reach Dr. Cohen's original goal for me (196lbs) on Sunday. That will be the end of week 14. My new goal is 185lbs. If all goes well I hope to be asking for my re-feeding program at the end of week 16.

There is one big problem with this diet. Yesterday I had to go out and buy new pants because the pants I bought just 4 week ago are too big. I guess I should have waited. I started this diet squeezing into a size 38 pants. Yesterday I squeezed into a 32. I still can't believe it.

Good luck to you all!

HURRAY Mr. Peel!!!!!! The only problem with our little club is that you all are moving onto the re-feeding club so quickly!!! Sorry to hear about your pants, but I'm sure someone else will really appreciate your new pants.

Hello Second-Time-Arounders!

Mr. Peel!!! What a wonderful problem to have. Mrs. Peel and you are doing so well and I just love how supportive you are of each other. I'll bet you're looking so good in your size 32 pants. Best of luck on getting to that goal weight this weekend!! Please let us know when you are able to request the refeed and then how it goes. As you know, we're all looking forward to that!

I'm all re-upped but haven't taken my blood test yet 'cause I haven't had time. I'll probably do it first thing Monday morning before the lab gets busy. My weight loss has been zero this last week so I'm a little down, but I know I shouldn't be weighing myself so am considering asking my husband to hide the scale for a couple of weeks. In fact, I think I'll call him now.

Hi All,

I've also just finished my 16th week and have been very pleased with the results. I lost 26 lbs in my first month and 13 lbs in each of the subsequent ones, for a total of 66 lbs!! Yay, I'm so excited! I love the positive attention that I've been getting and it motivates me to keep going until I reach my goal--only 40 more lbs to go...I think I'll make it to my goal of "THIN BY THIRTY".

Good luck, all!!

Leanne.

Hi all - I'll be a member of the club soon too! My first 12 weeks are up on Friday, and unless I can lose 19 pounds by then (HIGHLY unlikely) hehe (= I'm re-upping this week.

I don't mind so much, it will be worth the wait (and the 'weight') to take the time to finish properly. 35 pounds gone so far, (with hopefully at least a couple more by Friday) in just 12 weeks is amazing to me!

I'm just so glad to have you all here to do it with!
