Now that I am looking over things I've done during my first 2 weeks, I am changing things around. I had mostly been eating yogurt for breakfast, which wasn't bad, but I would need fruit mid-morning to keep me going. So I am switching around the order of my meals and trying different things.

Next I tried a big portion of tuna and veggies for breakfast, which was too much too soon in the day, because I got hungry at night and couldn't eat from my larger meal option.

Today I had a small portion of tuna + veggies for breakfast and it seems just right (like in Goldilocks and the Three Bears!).

So I will see how well I do with this.

Hi Hybrid222! Good for you for experimenting and paying attention to what your body needs. That is the key to succeeding on this diet. Good luck Goldilocks!

Welcome aboard Hybrid222! That is what is so great about the program, you can experiment and decide which meal option is best for you depending on how you feel on any given day. If I wake up and I am really hungry I make the egg and veges into an omelet! I even add a full egg shell worth of water and whip it up to make a bit more egg mixture to mix with the veges. If I am not that hungry I do the yogurt option. Then, I sometimes have my Meal #3 for lunch and Meal #2 for dinner or if I eat one of the Meal 2 or 3 options for breakfast I have a lighter dinner with meal #1 options.

Keep up the great work! The first couple of weeks are the most trying, but, after you get the hang of it, it is really easy!

The best advice that I can give anyone is to "Mix It Up" - It makes it much less monotonous and gets you really thinking about ways to spice it up and eat the food you can in different variations. The other night I made a "tuna melt" - used my tuna allottment, mixed in my 1 tsp of fat free mayo, added some onion and some dry mustard and a bit of dill. I placed some tomatoes on my cracker allottment then placed the tuna mixture on top and broiled it. It was great!

{hi} there Everyone

Goldilocks: I agree with Bronwyn - {goodjob} in experimenting to find what works for you :party8: A tip would be to always take the weather into consideration as well – on cold days you will need more warming and filling foods – yogurt is the least filling meal and it does not seem to last as long for most people.

Quality of Life: I love your tuna melt recipe it sounds so nice :hungry: – please will you paste this creative recipe into the Fish Ideas in the recipe section?

I agree. I have been doing this diet for 5 months and done the SAME meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. I recently got to the point that if I smelled a fried egg or smelly pans again I would cry. I have to have egg for breakfast as I need the proteing to get going. SO i started eating hardboiled egg and tomatoes for breakfast and is such a nice chnage. I also grilled on bbq all my chicken and burgers for the week so they didn;t smell up the house evry day and they have that great grill flavor. Of course I had to wait for some nice weather before I could do that! I have no probelm eating the same thing every day as it's easier and I figure it's for a short time - BUT - if you get the gross outs by your choices it's nice to know there are some options. My problem now is to make sure I am not waiting till IU'm starving to eat as it makes the internal dialogue of what else I should eat too loud :) Yea for all of us in our shorts and bathing suits this summer.
