I have to admit, I've had a wandering eye lately. It's not that I really want to eat other stuff, I'm almost afraid of it (of getting fat again), so I keep walking away. I just hope that never changes. I was at the dinner table recently and my kids were finished and left most of their food on their plate. I tried eating my chicken and salad and ignore their food but I couldn't so before I ate it, I took their plates and put them on the floor so our dog could eat it. I knew the walk to the garbage can would be to much for me. I was feeling really bad about being so weak but I told this story to my good friend and she said "you past the test. Even though you were tempted, you removed it before you ate it. It doesn't matter that you were tempted - you reacted in the correct way." I never thought of it like that.
This diet has really changed the way I feel about eating. Even though I might miss some foods, I don't miss them enough to eat them. This diet works. Stay strong and you can accomplish your goal. Feeling good about yourself is worth any sacrifice and this diet can help you get there.
