{hi} there Everyone
This thread is specifically devoted to recipe's containing different diet SOOOUPS ~ please feel welcome to share all your nice warming SOUP IDEAS with us:
:hiding: Is anyone feeling cold out there?
How about some chicken soup? :flirt:
This recipe is nice and filling and very easy to make - basically microwaving your cut chicken with a bit of onion, celery, cauliflower, zuccini, some spinach and some salt and herbs in a cup of boiling water. Once the chicken is cooked (about 6 minutes) put all of the above into a blender.
You may add a cracker or two to thicken while blending. ENJOY your :chicken: soup!
Further tip: You may even add some plain bran / husks to this as they will help to keep you feeling full and regular at the same time!

{hi} Meemsi
:noway: I don't like the sound of a throat that has been kinda itchy lately...
Recommendation is to keep warm and take plenty of extra Vitamin C to give your body a bug fighting boost: {hammer}
Please remember that the Vitamin C should be in tablet or capsule form, not in the form of a fizzy drink or chewable capsule as these contain added fruit flavouring.
Enjoy the soup!
Hope you feel much better soon {friendhug}

same goes with squash, but there i'd add a zing of vinegar and curry instead of the garlic or
with asparagus (add the juice from the tin),
mushroom, celery, cauliflower, season with your favorite herbs 2 taste -nice if u'd have enough allowance 2 add some of the veggies in form of sauted or boiled soup vegetables!

{hi} there Cyberella
Thank you for those lovely Soup Ideas!
You could also use Tofu in your spinach soup instead of the egg on top and Diet Buddies who are making any of these and who do eat meat could add in Chicken etc.
Soup is always such nice filling, warming food! {pot}
Remember though, when you have smaller portion sizes, you can still use just a little of each veggie type. If you are in a hurry, you can microwave the veggies in boiling water and when they are Ál Dente you can blend them all together...
