dear, moderators!
as i wasnt getting answers sooner by the consuls i asked the cracker-interval question 2 the both- the forums specialisz and my consuls-
the forum told me 1,5hours, the consuls said 30 minuz only until the next serving is ok!

about the fruiz i never asked, but always wanted 2 know-
actually i started "holding my feet still", as i didnt want anymore restrictions- i admit it!
(now on refeed there's not much 2 fear anymore)

still, i'd like 2 know-
is fruiz possible at any time or r there time-limiz?!

and what about the crackers- what is the "rite" answer?
the one that our chieftain, his majesty mr.1st personal himself would give me?!

ok, dear attendanz!
some conformity would b highly appreciated!!
there r 3 different time-datas in circulation:
babi's consul says: 30 minuz btween crackers,-
which i personally like the most!!! {mischievious}
shasha told us: 90 minuz
and maya's consultant claims: 150 minuz-

ok, eventhough i am only allowed 180g of apples and maya 200,
i cant complain about my consultant rite now... :flower::love5::flower:

{hi} there Cyberella

I believe the correct answer from Dr Cohen would be to space your fruit and your crackers out throughout the day.

{uhm} I'm just thinking, I tend to agree with the 2 1/2 hours between crackers - because this would be better spacing throughout the day in my mind... and I'm not sure that I would have told anyone 90 minutes was okay because I think the 2 1/2 hours is the correct answer.

 Maybe the Secretary can shed some additional light on the subject?

About the fruit - when no weight is given, Dr Cohen says to use a medium size fruit. Except mango is small. I think the reason you may have slightly different weights for apples for example is because your consultants each went, got a medium size apple for example and put it on the scale to weigh for you to have a better idea.

On the one hand it would make life easier if ALL fruit did have a specified weight in the New Customer Guide - but on the other, it would complicate matters on the diet. In my understanding, if you had a smaller apple, you would not be allowed to cut more off a bigger apple to make up the extra grams. Now imagine going to town and weighing each and every apple before you put it into your basket to see if it made the grams. This is why the weight given is a guideline. The correct guideline is 'medium size' for apples and other un-weighed fruit.

Fruit again, should be spread throughout the day ie: one in the morning and one in the afternoon or evening - that kind of thing.

Hope this helps?

Dear Barbara

1 serving of cracker cannot weigh more than 5.85g Just to clarify that - kindly note at times it is a bit difficult to understand your abbreviated way of writing! :) 1 Cracker = 5.85g

The crackers or fruit can disturb the insulin levels - so we suggest that you try to keep at least 30 minutes or preferably longer in between these snacks.

The Consultants Team

thaz what mr or mrs consultant gave me as an info...

the 1,5 hours i'm going 2 look 4 here on the board, as thaz what one of the moderators wrote in some post-
it might not have been u, shasha- but someone was..
again, my brain is not quite supplying the required info!!

oh, what i wanted 2 add:
if i am told i have 2 leave 2,5 hours inbetween snax, i would feel stressed, as i dont survive the morning or 4noon without fruiz more often, but the afternoons i dont mind having no snack at all-
i'm way more hungry in the morninx than afternoons or eve's.
so, i think calculating the snax 2 b spread evenly throughout the day would- in my case- b counter productive, as i'd b starving in the beginning of the day and would eat raw fruiz, when iz not all that beneficial 2 the body - later in the day!

But, aren't you on a refeed?
Maybe we're talking the actual diet here with all these 2.5 hours between...maybe refeed is not so strict??

Hi Bitten,

Yes you can have your fruit and crackers after 9pm if you want. I try to have eaten everything by 9pm, but it's nice to know that if necessary I can eat those snacks after the 9pm time slot. The main thing is to make sure that you have eaten your final meal before 9pm. Happy snacking!

bronwyn-
i cannot tell you how pleased i am to hear this. i thought i could, but then i started reading so many other contrary things and well, i was devastated to think i might have deviated...
fantastic...i can still sneak in my 'bed time' snack. i have ALWAYS been a night eater, not good....i know. BUT, and apple and crackers and a book or TV makes this program so much more doable!!!!
your ticker has moved!!!!! you are almost there. bravo-
