Hi everyone,

I just completed 7 days on this program. My friends and I know lots of people who have lost tons of weight on the 1pd and kept it off for years.

This was surprisingly easy for me to get into; I have had minimal issues with hunger and have felt pretty OK since beginning. Although I usually love to cook, now I just consider my meals as "refueling," and just want to get them over with and concentrate on things other than food. So I am eating veggies mostly raw, and also doing the yogurt option for breakfast and the cottage cheese option for dinner.

I lost 5 pounds this first week, but it seems that most of that was accomplished in the first half of the week, and then I hit a little plateau. But since we aren't supposed to make a big deal out of weekly changes, I guess I won't worry about it!

Good luck to everyone!

Hello hybrid222 and welcome !!!
While losing weight, it is normal for the weight loss to be faster some days and very slooooooooooow on other days to the point of standstill or plateau. This can be highly frustrating. The best advise I can give you is to weigh yourself only once every four weeks. This will give you the best and correct progress report while keeping the spirit up.

{hi} there Hybrid222

A very WARM WELCOME TO YOU! :bighug:

I am thrilled to hear how very well you have moved into doing your eating plan!!! Even more thrilled that you shared about the lots of people that you and your friends know who have lost tons of weight on the 1pd and kept it off for years.

YOU ARE ABOUT TO DO THE SAME BECAUSE {cheerleader} YOUR JOURNEY TO A SLIM HEALTHY YOU HAS ALREADY BEGAN!!!

I tend to agree with you - keep your mind busy on other things and then you won't be thinking about food... If you do feel like something nice though, we have plenty of quick and easy idea's in the recipe section.

For tasty yogurt simply flavor with cinnamon and sweetener and ENJOY!!!
To add crunch break in a cracker or two... :innocent3:
