:party1:I start tomorrow (friday). I tested a few of the meals earlier this week - did fine, but then had some crackers. I feel the salty crackers made me crave even more salt, so I ate a few more crackers (more than allowed).
Any recommendations out there for a good "salt free" cracker?
Any recommendations or hints to make it through the first few days?

Hi Lee and welcome! I know that Premium Saltines makes a low-sodium saltine cracker. I would recommend trying that if you are trying to cut your salt intake.
Glad to see you on the boards! Keep the questions coming... We're all here to help. Best of luck to you on your journey!

Hi Lee,
GOOD LUCK on your first day! Today is going to be a little bit challenging for me because I am travelling...great way to start a new weight loss program. I am travelling home tonight so I am looking forward to having all of my herbs/spices...I know today will be a little challenging because I have to eat everything plain...LOL...keep us posted on your progress!

{hi} there LeeDoherty
A VERY WARM WELCOME to you!!! :bighug:
If you don't like the Saltines, you may have Ry Krisps “Natural” Crackers - Bremner (USA) as well or even plan Matzo's if you like...
You may eat 4 Ry Krisp Crackers for every 5 crackers on the diet.
Wishing you all the best with your diet! Remember this is for a limited time only and the results are well worth the effort! {cheerleader}
Starting tips: I recommend that you avoid the yogurt and cheese options as these are the least filling meals. That you take a second multi-vitamin each day at lunchtime for the first few days and that you come to visit us often of the Forum :flirt:

Hello!!!!
I am on day 4 and doing well with the diet. I am, however, always hungry!!! So, I have been drinking gallons & gallons (or so it seems) of water!!! I have already noticed a change in my energy level. How are you feeling?

{hi} there LeeDoherty
{oops}, I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling hungry and recommend that you avoid the yogurt and cheese options for now - these are the least filling meals. Please take a second multi-vitamin each day at lunchtime for the next few days - this should also help.
:bighug: hang in there, the first week is the hardest :bighug: you are more than 1/2 way through it!

hi lee-
i am on day 6. i found days 4 & 5 the hardest so far. i was really hungry, today i am not.
i am trying to tell if it is the yog that makes me hungrier, as today i had egg w/ spinach for my meal one option. maybe switch up what your are eating. it will get better, it has too.
so many people on cohens have done it for 6-12 months. i know we can too!

thanks for the encouragement!!! I am not stopping now - I already made it through 4 days - it is not worth starting over. yesterday, I got out of the house and went to a park to enjoy the sun-shine - I had to get away from all access to food!!! Good luck to you!!! WE CAN DO ANYTHING IF WE WANT IT BAD ENOUGH!!!!:party1:

HI Lee,
Glad to hear you have made it through day 4...I have been sticking with the diet religiously and despite the very stressful couple of days I have been having with my personal life/work and the overwhelming desire I have to drink a bottle of red wine and eat something chocolate....all I keep thinking is I can't because it will ruin my diet. I am impressing myself with the dedication I am putting forward to follow this. I believe in what you write "WE CAN DO ANYTHING IF WE WANT IT BAD ENOUGH!!! I think that a lot of the success anyone has with this plan centers around how bad they want it.

Kristy, I couldn't agree with you more. I had reached the point of desperation with my weight, and discovering this plan is such a relief that I have zero temptation to deviate. There is nothing I could eat or drink that would be worth slowing down or stopping this highly effective path back to my normal slender self!! :)

{hi} there Everyone
{goodjob} I’d just like to add a little touch of salt to the statement if I may:
WE CAN DO ANYTHING AND WE WILL DO ANYTHING IF WE WANT IT BAD ENOUGH!!!
The WANTING IT ENOUGH is a major KEY!!!
Just look as Mrs Peel – her mind is set and her body simply following - moving along daily to slimness and greater health!! Not to mention the compliments, smaller clothes, feeling great etc that are all a great part of the package! Whoooo Hooooo!!! {cheerleader} YOU GO GIRLS!!!
