How do you edit your existing ticker?

How do you edit your existing ticker? I currently have one in my sig file but I want to update my weight. When I input my pin in the ticker forum from the main page then hit enter, it still asks me all the same things as if I'm completing a ticker for hte first time. Is this correct? Do I have to recreate a ticker each time I want to update it? I just to update my weight. Please help.

Hey there flwrgrlie. Sounds like you are going back to the ticker page from the link in the 1PD forum. I'm not sure why they don't have the edit link there for our convenience as well. But, you have to make sure that you are going to the edit link for your ticker. Your address would be http://www.1pdforum.com/tickers/edit.php?id=184. Then just enter your pin number and make your changes, copy and paste the new code into your signature in 1PD, replacing the old code. The easiest thing would be to save this link as a favorite in your internet explorer, and that way you can find your way back to it each time. Hope that helps. Actually, ladies, when you update the ticker, the changes automatically appear in your signature. There's no need to cut and paste the updated ticker again. As GettinSkinny said, the trick is keeping the link to your ticker window handy.

Thanks, Ladies! That was really helpful!! I weighed in today (I'm a week ahead of schedule but I just couldn't help myself!) and I'm another few lbs down!! How could I resist updating my ticker? :)

Wow, thanks, Mrs. Peel, I learned something new too. :) I didn't realize it would automatically update your ticker in your signature. Something made me think I had to re-paste it each time. Thanks for the insight!!!!
