Today I went out to pick up a pair of dress slacks that fit me for work! I discovered I can wear a size 14 (a big snug but not bad) now and at the store, I realized I did'nt even know where they kept smaller clothes. So it was fun to hunt for them. I'm excited for my next weigh in although I think my weight loss isnt what it should be with as religious about it as I"ve been. We'll see at the end of the week!

{hi} there LesKiya

That is absolutely wonderful! :clapping3: The best thing about those new smaller clothes is that you can enjoy wearing them all day long!!! How much fun can that be!!!

{goodjob} and always remember that you are unique and your journey towards health and wellness will also be a unique journey – don’t ever compare your progress with that of anyone else – as long as you know that you have done the very best you could we are happy and you should be too! {cheerleader}

Way to go, LesKiya! I'm almost to a 14 and I can't wait! I was giggling when I finally reached my 16's (and now their getting big) because it was the first time in more than 10 years that I don't have to shop in the fat store! OH MY GOSH!! What a feeling! Glad you're sharing in it! Keep up the good work!

Hi ladies,

I have been away as I traveled home to Phoenix for work last weekend. It was the first time my family got to see me. I am down 35 pounds! Everyone was so surprised at how thin I looked, especially in my face.

I did go to Ross to shop for jeans and I actually did buy size 14 pants!!! Plus, they only cost $8.00. That was the first time in nearly 20 years I fit into size 14. I can attest that I have only been in 18-20W or elastic waist pants from Chicos since 1998.

My kids are actually encouraging me to wear my "skinny jeans" instead of my baggy ones. They are pretty proud of their old Mom too. My husband is thrilled and is a constant source of support and compliments.

This has been already a life changing experience for me. Everyone is really worried about life after the diet. I honestly am not worried because I have made what I believe are lifestyle changes for the long haul. I feel better and have eaten healthier than I have in my entire lifetime.

I have decided to renew at the end of my 12 weeks. I will take a planned day or two off program when I travel home for my high school reunion at the end of April. My consultants have agreed to allow me to take my blood work at week 14. I don't plan on blowing it or eating food off program, but I will have a glass of wine or two and not worry about weighing my food.

By the way, last weekend when I traveled I was fortunate enough to stay at my parents. I brought my scale, went shopping and stayed true to the program 100% all four days. I did have an issue with constipation again. I did have to take a laxative.

Still open to suggestions on that front.

Anyway, it was great to hear about so many of you getting into those smaller clothes. Keep up the great work!

I look forward to catching up a bit more and getting back in the loop.

Take care,
Swimmer

I started this diet at a 16 and now am in 10's and hopefully will go down 1 more size. I just cleaned out my closet this weekend to see what i had to wear for the summer and almost NOTHING fit. I was so excited. So I will send my 14 and 16's on to someone else as I need sdome new duds - SMALLER ones. So happy for all - getting into smaller clothes and shopping at a "normal" store is so awesome!!!!!!!!
