Hi Everbody,

I have enjoyed reading your successes on the forum. They are very inspiring. Worthqueen is my sister, so she got me to join the forum. I'm so glad that I did. I am a mom with 1 daughter and work with my husband in our Business.

I have struggled with my weight for many years, and decided that this is the year to get it handled once and for all. So I am going for it. Yay!

Hi Scoobymom!

Isn't it great to have someone near you who is on/has done the program already? I started after I saw my brother's success and now many people are asking what my method is--perhaps I'm converting some new Cohenites too :)

I hope that you find a "home" on the forum, there are so many wonderful and supportive people here!

Leanne.

{hi} there Scoobymom

A very WARM WELCOME TO YOU!!! :bighug:

I love your Atavar! How old is your daughter?

It is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL that you've decided to do the program with your sister, WorthyQueen - I can just imagine your family get together's which now get celebrated with yummy baked apples and crackers {goodjob}

What sort of business do you have?

Dear Shasha,

Thanks for the great welcome. As you can tell from my avatar, I love Scooby doo! My daughter is 11years old . We love to go to the movies together and also do other activities. She is a dance and figure rollerskating, and my inspiration to loose weight. My goal is to one day go rollerskating with her. I am too heavy at this time and my feet hurt so much that I can't skate.

My husband has an electrical contracting business in Los Angeles, CA. It keeps us busy!

I probably should have said before, unfortunately, I live in LA and Worthyqueen lives in Florida, so we are 3000 miles apart and so we don't get together that often. I keep in toch with my family through phone and e-mail. We are planning a family get together for this year, so hopefully it will happen.

I have some friends in LA that are on the 1PD as well, I will tell them about the forum aswell, hope they will join too!

Hi Scoobeymom!

So glad you followed your dear sister example and joined up! Worthyqueen is awesome and is doing so well with this diet. Sorry you two are so far away from each other - that must be hard. Mr. and Mrs. Peel and I both live in the LA Area. Perhaps when/if Worthyqueen gets to visit sometime we can have a little 1PD gathering! Welcome aboard and we'll enjoy watching your progress.

Dear Bronwyn,

Thanks for the welcome. A LA 1PD get together sounds fun!

Looks like you are close to your goal. That is so well done. I have been reading your and Mrs Peel's posts, and they have been very inspiring. Thanks.

Hello Fellow dieters,

Thanks for the Welcome!

To Bronwyn - Good luck in Vegas. I hope that goes well!

To Worthyqueen - Thanks for the welcome. Thanks for introducing me to the forum - It is awesome!

To Maya - Thanks. I was on the program for 3 months last year, and then went off for it for a it, and now am back on it and sticking to it. Luckily, I did not gaing much weight back while I was off it, but I did start to see that if I didn't get back on the program, I would never handle my weight problem permanently.

And so, now I am back on it and thanks to all my forum buddies inspiration, I am sticking to my diet and doing it exactly again.

It has made it so much easier and fun to know that we are all doing it together!

I have such a long way to go, so I will be here for a while!

:clapping3: what an awesome motivator!! Do you have a pair of skates? If so, I want you to take them out and put them where you can see them a couple of times a day... the more you focus on the prize - the dream - the goal, the easier your diet will be! If there are no skates yet in the house for the ScoobyMom, I want you to get a picture of some and stick it up on the side of your PC Screen... It's all about re enforcing your goals and dreams on a daily base...

It's all about getting your head on right and, I can see it's on right and that you will be fine, I'm just encouraging you to keep the wonderful momentum going... and to never loose sight of your beautiful dreams!

About family... well, the Forum's a great place for the two of you to chat and encourage each other, you are welcome to go to the Coffee Clutch and open a TWO SISTERS chat... that could be fun :flirt:

I LOVE movies too! I never use to, but now days it's a wonderful escape with my hubby - we love the BIG SCEEN and really enjoy our time together. Especially the kiddies stuff - Happy Feet and all of those included - last movie seen: Horton hears a WHO and of course we both loved it... can't help it LOL and don't want to either!

Life is too short not to make as many happy memories as you can - so, go for it 100% - those skates and that little lady are waiting!!! {cheerleader} YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Welcome, Lynett!

On the main Forum page, second topic from the top is "1st Personal Diet Tickers" - click on that and it will take you to the window where you can design your ticker and select a PIN for it. Once you've made your choices and saved them, you will be given the option of copying a link in HTML or BB code. Copy the BB code and then go to your Control Panel page. Select "Edit Signature" at the top left, and when the window appears, paste the BB code for your ticker into the box. Preview your signature to see that it works. From then on, when you update your ticker on the original link, the changes will automatically show up in your posts.

Easy!

:party1:For years now I have been trying to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight, 20 years to be exact. I have a 20 year old daughter and two sons 18 and 15. I started the program on Monday. Telling myself it's only 12 weeks has already come in handy. I work at an elementary school and this is staff appreciation week. So treats and food everyday. Yesterday there was a chocolate fountain in the teachers lounge. Sweets are my down fall. I looked to see if there were any fruits I could have, but no. So I ate my orange and told myself it's only twelve weeks.
I love going to see movies, going to the beach, I live in Oregon originally from Southern California. And I like to read. I'll be fifty next years so I just purchased a book on menopause. Oh Boy!
I take medication for an inactive thyroid. Other than that I'm pretty healthy. Knock on wood. All in all life is great and I look forward to chatting with all you in my new cyber space community.
Take care,
Hippychick/Lynett
And thank you so much Miss Peel for your help on the tracker thing. I'll work on that later today

{hi} there Lynett

Well, you've come to the right place :bighug:

I would just like to warn you right up front though: it won't be long before they start thinking you are your own daughter's older sister!!!

WELL DONE on keeping your fruit handy! How very smart of you! If you ate the SWEETIES they would turn into SOUR's with regret very soon because you will end up wishing you didn't so:
{goodjob} on staying strong!!!
