I just want to stop by and introduce myself. I am really new to the diet, this being my 4th day. I've enjoyed hanging out here "incognito", reading your stories and sharing your successes. I'm excited to be on my own journey now.

I look forward to the next 12 weeks!

Welcome, aussiegirl70, glad you decided to come out of hiding and join our wonderful group. Everyone here is so caring and helpful. I'm in my third week, and I find it really motivational to come here and read and sometimes re-read some of the threads. Most of the time, it gives me exactly what I need to stay committed and working toward my goal. I just know you will find it equally as helpful. We are SO glad you've decided to share in our journeys. Happy dieting!!!!

Thanks for the welcomes.

Shasha - What made me want to join? (I assume you mean join the diet, or maybe the forum? I'll answer both...)

1PD was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. She had great success on it and looks amazing. I liked the idea of it, and I needed to get back to a healthier weight. I also seem to be generally run down most of the time and am tired of feeling that way, so, 5 days into it am already feeling MUCH better.

I wanted to join the forum to be part of a community of people who are going through similar things. I love the recipe thread and tried the hashbrowns this morning...Mmm!! Delicious! Thanks for sharing that!

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Cyberella- Thank you for noticing. I'm half way there and at the end of my 12 weeks. I'll be signing up Saturday to get rid of the second half of this weight. I wish I looked like you at this point!

Welcome to the program Aussiegirl! This is day 6 for me and so far so good. I haven't found it too bad. I've been mixing up the meals a little bit to give me a little bit of variety. I am eager to see the results. I have decided to wait the full four weeks before I do my weight check and measurements.

u will sooner than u know, honey!!
and once u r there- having gotten there will b so worth the while, trouble and effort in your memory.
i am so very happy already eventhough i had 2 stop a little sooner-
my figure is very nice, but could lose some more pounz, i know.
but i'm slim not thin, and 4 now very content.

your motivation is 90% of the "rent"...
once u r not de-motivated (like i was by losing proportions and by being advised 2 let the body rest 4 a while), u should not have any trouble getting 2 your goal in the next round!
and i'm so very happy 4 u and all our other cohenian "collegues" out there and in here!
after having had no chance losing weight 4 years, trying endless numbers of xpensive, but use- and senseless diez, iz such a releave knowing that we have "a plan"...

I am hoping that this diet will be like childbirth. You will forget about all the pain and enjoy the end product...A new beautiful body.

{hi} there Everyone

While I was reading Cyberella’s post I was thinking about the word LABOR and the pains of bringing a baby into the world and then went on to read your post and had to LOL… :applause: yes, this diet can really be seen as the LABOUR needed to BIRTH the NEW HEALTHIER YOU!!!

Labor isn’t the same as having fun…

If you look up the synonyms you will find words like: work, toil, effort, manual labor, employment, industry, work hard and struggle… :weights:

But, once the mission is accomplished, there is NO looking back!!! {bighug}
