HI Everybody,
I have been on this diet almost 2 weeks so far. I am not a very creative type person when it comes to cooking but, I NEED SOME FLAVOR, PLEASE. Is there anyway I could use jalapeno peppers? maybe not the peppers themselves, but use the liquid for flavoring. if that makes sense. you know kind of warm them up in the microwave and then squeeze the juices on the veggies or chicken. The veggies are kind of wearing out their welcome with me, but this too shall pass. :eyebrow: just needing to vent. I would love some input on the peppers. Thanks guys:)

Hi, Kristi!

I know you can use green chilis, but I don't know about jalapeņos. I had asked about cayenne and red chilis, and was told only green chilis were okay.

Other great sources of spicy tang are ginger, curry powder, and mustard powder!

Hope that helps!

My suggestion would be to ask your consuler. Maybe after your 4 week blood est you can have peppers. For me the only way to satisfly that craving is to take a bite of pepper with every bite of veggee. I understand your feelings about the veggees. I think most of us feel the same, but weighing at the moment of fed up helps me. Smile Barb

{hi} there Kristi and Company

Mrs Peel is 100% correct, {goodjob} once you have passed the initial first stage and you are no longer hungry, you may use green chillies, providing they do not trigger hunger for you. You may use them up to 3 times a week to flavour your food.

So you can warm them up and squeeze out the juice - sounds like a nice idea!

(Red or other colours are not allowed.)
