hi, shasha-dear :flirt:!

as u once suggested 2 help my dizzy, depressed and pms-sed body out with an additional fruit and 2 added crackers, i wondered y it is better or: "allowder" *gg* 2 alter the program in the "sweet" ==> insulin-department rather than having "safer"? fooz, which should b low-carb veggies, i --in my innocent :innocent1:- and naive :nerd: ways-- would assume...

so, y is it better 2 "help" a desperate system with the "forbidden" fruiz??

{hi} there Cyberella

:bighug: to you my special Diet Buddy!

{sorry} but I do not have all the answers to all the questions... I only know that if a client complains of dizziness or feeling faint, it is as per Dr Cohen's instructions to have an extra fruit on those days only. I believe this is to raise blood sugar levels a bit and it may also have an effect on blood pressure levels. I'm not sure about all the in's and all the out's of exactly WHY an extra fruit is allowed, but can tell you that in the case of dizziness and feeling faint, most clients find the extra fruit really helps.

I have asked Dr Cohen if it is permissible for a client to snack on celery (or other diet veggies) and his answer was NO - but he did not say WHY. I think this is because of the importance of the 5 hours rule and because vegetables work together with proteins on the eating plan to restore the correct balance.

So although I cannot explain why you can snack on fruit and not on veggies, I do know that veggies are not allowed between meals. Hope this helps - even just a little bit :bighug:

{hi} there Cyberella

Nope... I'm glad to see that you are thinking about the program and trying your best to understand it... and, I think you often ask questions that others may be thinking of, but not actually taking the time or being brave enough to ask...
Of course I'll always do my best to answer :flirt:

And to set the record straight: We luv u just the way u r!

I agree with Shasha - Cyberella you are the best and your questions are just fine. I thought that was a very good question to ask re: the veggies. All your questions help others to understand more about the diet and how it works. We truly do love you just the way you are!

hey, lovies... :party1:

i've missed u all, 2 and felt terrible guilty 4 not having stopped by more often but was freaking busy and in the eveninx-- guess what....

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! i havent met a decent man (r there any?! :love8: ) and have also not wallowed in vice... haha!
no, rather in my sheez... as i had early nites and went 2 bed with elias at about 8 pm, 2 only weak up at 7:30am - isnt that something?

i slept like a baby the last somewhat 10 days or so--
most nites i didnt even intend 2 stay in bed but wanted 2 get back up-- haha! nice intention, but: NO! i slept like a rock..

that was, btw my way of dealing with the restricted food intake-

sometimes i was still hungry after my yoghurt that i decided 2 rather go 2 bed than feel sorry 4 myself and b starved by midnite!! and when i layed down, i was looking 4ward 2 the next morning and my fried ex- no, eggs! :eyebrow:

gosh, am i hoggish or what!!?!
