... iz not my new profession..
no, iz something that worx like autogenic training and i started it due 2 an overwelmed pancreas yesterday!!

as i had fruit and cracker yesterday afternoon and suddenly felt terribly hungry, i knew my pan-creas overdid it and freaked out over so much "sweet" food!!!
about like that: {elmo}:party3:

call me a fool or freak -i dont mind cause i know i am- but i am convinced that our- or better: MY organs have a childlike consciousness and can b fun "communicating" with (sometimes they even feel like talking, other times they dont bother with "me".. oh, my gosh, i hope noone is gonna come lock me up!!)

anywho: i talked very perceptively and adjuratory (?) with my insulin-glan, 2 make it aware of the overreaction and 2 hit the break..

and 3,2,1... it worked-
hunger vanished and i felt muuuuch better!

so did my pancreas, who was happy 2 take the rest of the day off..:surf:

who ever wanz 2 try- feel free and not stupid! iz fun and worth a try (dont b frustrated if it doesnt work the first time- i talk 2 my body :wacky: already since many years due 2 yoga-practice)

Cyberella, I think you're brilliant! :clapping: Self-talk and the power of the mind are HUGE when it comes to healing and maintaining! Plus, it will keep you in tune with your body and can make a world of difference in discipline (as in making the hunger go away)!

Good for you! Maybe it should be your new profession! :)

Hello dear Babi,

Yes you are brilliant!!! I LOVE this idea, whether someone can actually communicate with their organs, or their positive thoughts get them through. Either way, you are really on to something. Thanks for sharing! I don't think we'll need to send anyone to lock you up yet... Ha ha ha...

BTW - Speaking of positive thoughts, I wonder where JadeHawk has been?

Hi all,
I thinks its a great idea too!! As they saying goes: thoughts create your world, so thinking or talking to your organs can only increase the frequency of your bodies energy and that is what we're made of isn't it... pure energy. I know it's used alot in conjunction with meditation for overcoming illnesses and alot of people use it with imagery to combat cancers, etc. And surely it will get you more intune with your body and what it needs? And that's a great thing!! Well done Cyberella!! Luv your thinking!
Here's hoping they don't start talking back!! :D

Hey, Bron - I was wondering that, too! I hope he wasn't driven off by being outnumbered by us gals. MrPeel doesn't post much, either - maybe it's a guy thing. :hypnotic:

{hi} there Everyone

:applause: I agree: part of the secret to success on the program is in speaking to the mountain that you want to move with right positive thoughts and then right positive words...

Then there is the bit about following up your words with your actions... ie: sticking to your eating plan 100% :clapping3:

Then there's another part as well: ...having done all to stand, STAND FIRMLY! Meaning that you should never quit or give up, no matter what and that you must continue to push through until you have passed your finish line! {boing}
