Is there such a thing as drinking too much water while following the plan? I know that at least 2 liters per day is required, but wondering if going well beyond (say 4+ L/day) is OK or if it will alter results or cause any type of 'deviation'. :thinking:

When I was on the diet, I was told not to go past 3 Liters per day, but I do not know if that's a GENERAL rule or a PERSONAL rule for my particular body. Sounds like a question for SUPERMODERATOR!! Gail

{hi} there Iisrias & Gail

For the purposes of the diet it is enough to drink 2 liters of water a day.

If however you feel thirsty you may drink more water, especially if you are use to drinking 2 liters of water per day, you may find you want a bit more while on diet.

You can also find yourself drinking more water if the weather is hot or if you are exercising. :weights: If water is the only thing you are drinking you may also have more than 2 liters per day due to natural thirst.

Drinking more than 2 liters per day will not show up as a 'deviation' on your diet. :innocent2:

It is hard to put a limit on how much you should or should not drink, that will depend on some of the factors mentioned above - also, a big man may want more water than a small woman for example.

If however you do drink more water on a daily base, you may want to consider taking a second vitamin at lunchtime to replace vitamins and minerals.

Water is by far the most natural and best thirst quencher EVER! So, listen to what your body is saying to you and ENJOY!!! {cheerleader}
