Hi everyone,
I just completed my first month. I only lost two pounds but I did lose some inches. I don't feel bad because this past month I began a new job and had to learn to budget my time now with school. I ended up cheating because of the stress everything new. This second month will be the one where definite pounds will come off.
See you next month!

Thank you so so happy! I needed that boost of confidence. This past weekend I started again and it was a struggle, but I'm doing it. Hooray!

It helps to plan your meals in advance. I take a couple of hours on Sunday and make some of my food for my lunches for the week up in advance. I measure and bake my chicken and fish (usually halibut) and measure out my london broil cuts of meat to freeze or refrigerate so I have it more convenient to grab and cook. My meals are simple saute's most of them... like my favorite garlic spinach w/crimini mushrooms with my chicken or steamed asparagus with a splash of basalmic vinegar. Then I have my rice cake and fruit ready to add to my lunch bag. Herbal teas help keep the hunger pains away. My favorite is Rooibos tea. I can drink them without sweetners if I have to.
Learning to recognize the times and the reason for when you "cheat" or overeat is the first step to getting through the rough times. I managed to stay 100% for most of my 6 months I was on the program. With that said, I've been off the program for 2 years and need to go back on it to lose the weight I've put back on. It is hard to go back on this program and I find for myself, that I need to have a "do or die" attitude to stick with it and a clear reason why I am doing this for me.
