This has been the best experience on a diet! I love my new figure!! Sometimes I look into the mirror and can't believe I'm looking at myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Cohen and team and to all of you who posted blogs that I could read during my 'transformation!' It was so helpful to read about the progress you all were making and about the refeed...it gave me hope and something to look forward to. I have 13 more days on Refeed!! I've lost 50 lbs!! I can't wait to be social again! :)

Thank you so much for posting your pictures! You look absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! Way to go! I've been on this diet for a month and have been totally amazed at how well it is going for me. And after seeing how happy and healthy you look, I'm even more on board to stick to this plan. This is the first time in forever that I've really thought it would be possible for me to lose my extra weight.

Thank you to both of you! One of my friends came over tonight and bagged up all my "fat cloths" for me as I tried everything in my closet on. It was great to make room for "skinny cloths!" I started the diet mid-Oct and am amazed at how fast time has flown and weight has just melted off. I'm a walking, talking billboard for Dr. Cohen. I've gotten 7 of my friends and co-workers to sign up since I've started the diet. I know that we aren't supposed to weigh ourselves every day...but that was my motivation. Seeing results everyday whether it was 3 lbs or 0.2 lbs.... it kept me motivated and kept me from 'cheating.'
Good luck with the rest of your program, you both will do great and look fantastic! :)

You look fantastic....
when you say looking forward to being social again...did you take yourself "out" of the social circle for a period of time? I do great and they stray in the social world...also did you cook for your family? Did you cook in advance? I have been on and off and have had some great permanent weight loss but have struggled with being consistent the last few weeks.
Thanks...you look great

I went out a few times with friends to clubs but didn't like holding a big plastic pepsi cup. Also, trying to eat out and not being able to weigh or make sure they didn't add anyting to the chicken/veggies, etc was too hard. It was just easier for me to stay home on those occasions and join friends when they did things I could do...like massages, pedi/mani, movies. I'm single, so cooking for a family wasn't an issue. I'm lucky on that aspect. My family did come down for Thanksgiving, and I would just eat a late lunch, go with them out to eat for dinner and take my crackers and apple with me and drink a diet soda while they ate. Then I would eat when we got home. It really wasn't bad doing it that way. We talked during the whole meal and it usually only took them 20 minutes to eat. I could suck it up for 20 min each night knowing I was going to lose 5-10 lbs that week. :)
My last day on ReFeed is March 2nd. And I already have my first 4 meals planned that I've been craving. I just know that I'm going to have to work out and stick to my 'diet' foods/portions for my other 2 meals that day. (Thursday)Chimichanga, (Friday)crab dip and beer, (Saturday)pepperoni pizza, and (Sunday)pancakes ....those are my 4 desires after these few months. :) And then I'm good....well, maybe a few coconut M&Ms too. lol.
Honestly, I could eat shrimp, tilapia, chicken, zuchini and butternut squash everyday. So sticking with the program in a sense won't be hard. And I love Kiwi, Melon, apples, and oranges. This really has been a great diet!

Just getting started here and appreciate reading your success story - you look beautiful and I know you're feeling that great sense of accomplishment. Additionally, you've made a great investment in your health. I think that's my biggest reason for losing weight. It doesn't guarantee anything, but odds are maintaining a normal weight really helps in future years. Enjoy! anniemw

Thank you for posting! This is inspiring. What did you do when you had plateaus? I am having one. In the past 2 weeks I have lost 4 lbs, 2 lbs each week. The first week I lost 13. I drink the water and I measure the right amounts. Any tips? Thanks.
