Hi!

Well today was my 4 week weigh/measure in! I got up this morning and got on the scale. I was worried and I'm not really sure why as I have seen improvement in how my clothes fit...I lost 13.2 pounds! WOW!

I am feeling great and this is wonderful to know it is working do well! Many days I have all of the food I am allowed so I was worried if eating all my crackers would slow me down but NO! I am loving this life change!!!!!!

Thank you all for the inspiration!

I have to say tonight was great! I went to a 4th of July BBQ and stayed 100% on plan!

I have a VERY supportive family and boyfriend which made it easy! One of the women who brought the burgers even made all the hamburgers 4oz because I mentioned that is about my portion and she bought extra lean meat. I had bought a ground Buffalo steak and already weighed it exactly but the thought she put into it touched me!

I also received a lot of compliments which are hard to take when you are still heavier than when most of the people met you....but overall I am proud that my progress was noticeable and welcomed!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and 1PD approved 4th of July!

Way to go!!!! You've done an amazing job! It's so nice to here that you have such a supportive group of people around you. It can make all the difference some times. And for your friend to make all the burgers smaller was such a generous thing for her to do. Keep it up!

Nice work Is!
I am on a 4th weekend with friends and felt totally impowered that I brought my own food and stuck to it. Isn't it funny to be scared of the scale when you have been staying on plan???? It is good to take care of yourself and your body is responding! Just think how great you'll look on labor day! Keep it up.

Cynthia and Monkeyface -

Thank you! It was a great celebration!

It is crazy that we are afraid of the scale but that will likely not change. LOL. Man I am very much looking forward to Labor Day!!!!

Keep it up!

Hey IS...
I know it is all going to work out as long as you've stayed on the plan...the inches are amazing to me...I asked my consultant about my belly fat...which is where I keep it all...and they said the oldest fat goes last :) That kind of makes me laugh...and they're right...everything is going down but not that yet...I hope I don't end up looking like a meat ball on a few tooth picks! :) :) ;)
Enjoy your progress

It was good thanks monkeyface! I have lost 10 more pounds and that resulted in 3 more inches off my belly!!!!!!

I am wearing the jeans I wore 2 years ago when I met my boyfriend! We are both very happy about that! I am also currently at my 10 year class reunion....eek!!! But seeing old friends is great!! Heres to continued success for us all!

I tried BBQ cause I was making my OH so favorite buffalo burgers! I got the idea from the recipe thread and then a friend of mine (the most supportive one) said she loves them so I couldn't resist!

Wow! Only 19 more pounds.... You're almost done! Woo-hoo! My weight loss has started to really slow down too, but that's bound to happen. At this point every pound is a victory, haha! Have a wonderful trip :o)
