Okay folks - Here is my progress report after 8 weeks in:
Total weight loss: 21.8 pounds
Total inches lost: 24.75 (I measure chest, waist, hips, legs, arms)
I am fitting into size 6 or 8 (my belly is still my problem area and therefore I sometimes need the bigger size to go around that, but my butt and legs are definitely a 6)
So there it is! I am very happy with my progress, for all my whining on other posts about becoming bored with the food choices and wishing this were going a little more quickly. I am THRILLED to weigh what I do now - I haven't weighed this little for about 10 years - and am looking forward to weighing even less. This diet truly is amazing and is worth every ounce of willpower I've had to put into it. I also think I am learning some valuable life skills with having to cook each mean, instead of ordering out, or bringing home takeout. I feel I am learning so much about how to maintain this after the diet is done and I'm not even close to refeed yet.
Another nice side effect - My husband has lost nearly 20 pounds just from eating "my food" and eating at home too. He was just saying last night how much he loves eating our meals instead of spending the money to eat what someone else cooks and our cooking is better anyway! He's looking great. Darn men, losing so fast!!
Thanks to all of you for your ideas, support, and being there. I truly love this forum and my diet buddies. I'm not a blogger anywhere else, but feel right at home here with all of you.
