Well, yesterday was my birthday and I'm happy to report that I didn't deviate a bit! Yay for me! Instead of going out to eat, my husband made me fish and asparagus. Everyone else had pork, rice, broccoli, rolls....and the pork smelled wonderful. I blew out candles on my chocolate cake....and then turned that big heaping pile of sugar over to the kids. I enjoyed a baked apple. Really, it wasn't a problem at all. I thought the cake might be an issue, but it was more the pork than anything!!

Still feeling GREAT about this plan...and I'm not even feeling the need yet to experiment with tastier dishes. I'm really quite content with how and what I'm eating. And, actually, eating is becoming less of an event for me. I suddenly seem to get the concept of "eating to live, not living to eat." Tried to figure that one out for years, and here it only took me two weeks. Go figure!

My biggest dilemma right now is deciding whether or not I'm going to weigh in on Friday (my 2 week mark). Still up in the air about it. How often do YOU weigh in?

Congratulations! It feels amazing to look temptation in the face and say "no thank you!" During my first twelve weeks I weighed myself every week; but then it started driving me crazy because I started losing at a slower rate. But this last month I have been weighing myself every week again.

Happy Birthday & Congratulations on giving yourself the best present ever- a new healthy year!
Just think by your next bday you will be 108 pounds lighter~ yeahhhhh
As a fellow dieter said to me, "Buckle up, enjoy the ride and don't get off till you hit your goal weight~"
good luck, you can do this :)

I weighed every week. But, only you know what you can handle. Some people get too stressed by weighing once a week.
