Maintenance Food Questions: I just completed my re-feeding...having lost 10kgs in 5 weeks. Very happy and would like to make good food choices. So some questions to help... 1. I have been feeling quite peckish having gotten used to 4 fruits on my re-feeding at regular snack times during day. Now trying to limit it to 1 fruit a day as per suggestion. I love the snack of cheese and a cracker if I am hungry, but it somehow feels naughty? Would two crackers (small ones - Provita) and low fat cheese be too much? 2. Avocado Pear - nowhere there is any mention of this in the diet, or refeeding. Is it terrible to have half of these with a salad? And should one limit it, I guess it is a fat, but always thought it is a good vegetable fat? 3. Pre-diet I used to snack regularly on carrots and mange tout/snap peas if I have hunger. Tried to have a small meal (healthy) every 3 hours, the so-called grazing concept which is also supposed to help with controlling insulin. How does this go with the Cohen diet who really recommend 3 meals a day with only a small snack in between meals? I do have a hereditary insulin problem (was still very much under control) so was thinking to start doing the small healthy meal thing again now that all the hormones are balanced? You advice please? Thanks Andrea
