Hi everyone,
Well I have just started (March 1st) and want to jump on in with both feet..... I am really really excited to be doing this diet.
Let me give you a little intro about me. I will try to make this short and sweet and not bore everyone to tears. I am 37 years young, I have two boys from a previous marriage and have since gotten re-married to a wonderful man. 3 weeks before my wedding I went to my local post office to buy stamps so I could pre-address my thank you cards when a woman put her foot on the gas rather than the break and drove into the building, hitting me and two other people with her car. My disks to turn to mush and she fractured some bones in my back. I did get married (Although I don't think it would be legal in many states due to the amount of narcotic pain pills and muscle relaxers I was taking) FF a few months and I underwent a spinal fusion of my L4-L5 vertebrae, now FF a little over year and here I am today. The fusion was not a success and I have been living with chronic back pain ever since the accident, needless to say I have not been able to exercise much in the last 16 months and I have gained about 40lbs!!! My hubby and I want to add to our family (he is an only child) and we have undergone fertility that was not successful so I decided I wanted to lose some of this excess weight before jumping on the "trying" band waggon again, I figure it will help me through a pregnancy when we do manage to have a baby together. There are always silver linings to trials and I am greatful that I can walk, that I have a wonderful supportive husband who has stood by me though out all this and my boys still have a mother! When I have a bad day I keep telling my self those things over and over again.
So here I am, getting ready to jump.
