Hello all,

I've been on Cohen for just over 4 weeks, and am so impressed with this diet! Have been reading your posts for a few days and finally signed up...hoping for some "diet buddies" to laugh with, learn from, and share insights and encouragement.

Your stories are all so inspirational. Thank you for sharing! {grouphug1}

Thank you all for your warm welcome! This diet is amazing - I am now at week 5 and have lost about 20 lbs. I have 32 to go to reach the low end of the goal that Dr. Cohen set.

Cyberella, if you're asking what the nickname means (sorry if I misunderstood) it is the first letter of each word in a saying that I thought was funny - "I'm in shape...round is a shape." These days my goal is to be MUCH less round! :)

I have a little one also, and he is one of the main reasons I started this program. I want to be healthy for him and be around for a long long time, as well as just being able to keep up! I swore I never wanted to be the overweight, grumpy mom, and that is what I became. The weight even had a huge effect on my relationship with hubby (mostly from me). The grumpy part came from frustration and embarrassement over my weight/appearance, and I've been making excuses for the last 3 years. No more excuses. Already this diet has made me happier and healthier. Who could ask for more?

I just received the results of my 4 week blood draw, but haven't heard from the consultants yet. I admit that while I know we shouldn't weigh often, I do. It keeps me motivated. On the days it goes down...woohoo, on the days it stays the same or goes up even a little, that just motivates me to work harder. (Please don't send anyone to confiscate my scale!) haha

Sorry for the long-winded answer.:hypnotic:

Hi Iisrias!
I'm new here too, but WELCOME anyway! :party1:

Okay, that is really funny that you came up with that for your name! That is awesome that you are already losing weight and feeling so much better. The main thing that I have noticed after the first couple weeks is that my energy has increased so much. My kids are older, but I have a granddaughter who has been a major inspiration for me to lose weight, too (so I chase her and whatnot without getting exhausted).

I'm looking forward to hearing your progress on this journey!

... it was some kind of wonderful old hebrew name--
my sons "raphael" and "elias-leon" prove that i dig on them! eventhough i have no hebrew rooz or anchestors i think they have the most amazing names..

but your xplanation is waaaaay better, i think!!! so very cool... :laughing:

about weighing i feel xactly the same:
it motivaz, no matter what the scale shows- well, as long as it doesnt last a month until digiz drop, but we all learned from previous posts that this could happen as well :eyebrow:
i've been on the same weight twice now, and both times 4 over a week- {taz}
but actually i dont weigh myself anymore...

and i also wanna stay in this body - so i can stay at this party - 4 quite a while and need 2 treat it the best i can-
i bcame mother by the age of 39- things like that bcome relevant when considering how young a child is when one is already an oldtimer.. (at least numerical - mentally i dont see a chance 4 me 2 ever grow up---) :love8:

Thanks for the welcome Queen. It sounds like you're doing great! I haven't found that increase in energy yet - I asked the consultants about it, and they said it was probably due to a drop in blood pressure, so I've been doing an extra vitamin, hopefully that will help.

Cyberella, you are so great! I love how encouraging and kind you are! All of your posts are so positive. I like that you said you want to "stay at this party", I'll have to remember that one. I know what you mean about being an older mom, I had my little boy when I was 37. I sure don't feel 40, but that's what my driver's license says, so it must be true. Hopefully soon, I won't look 40 either.:eyebrow:

Have a great day everyone!

Hello Iisrias!

I love how you devised your nickname and now I'll remember how to spell it!!! Also love that a huge reason you are getting healthy is for your son. Not sure if you had read, but we "talked" about this on one of the posts how we want also to set examples for our children. My little guy loves fruit instead of cake and hates french fries (the two times I offered because I was having some - of course pre-diet). I don't want to be a hypocrite and eat fast food while he eats broccoli!

Cyberella - I love that "stay in this body so I can stay at this party"!! You're the best!!

thank u girls :cloud9:!!
iisrias and bronwyn, u r so incredibly kind and i feel so very much appreciated that iz no wonder i barely take part in "real" life (offline) every once in a while - u seem like family rite now, s family is not supporting me all that much!
actually elias' dad comes 2 visit, stays 4 3 days (now is easter-holidays) and whenever he opens his mouth he nagsnagsnags {explode}until i'd like 2 tie the knot
......in his neck, so iz airtight! :punch:

oh, and actually i wanted 2 write:
"i'd like 2 stay in this costume so i can stay at this party 4 as long as possible"..but as i know that i tend 2 b hard 2 follow sometimes, i took the light-version... :flirt:

{hi} there Iisrias & Everyone

:reading: "I'm in shape...round is a shape." {rofl}

:clapping3: That is excellent and really funny! But, given your great progress of loosing 20 pounds in 5 weeks, I somehow don't think this name will be relevant much longer - OH YEAH!!!

You'll probably have to change your name to: Iisgias or perhaps Iissias...

(I'm in shape... gorgeous is a shape! or I'm in shape... sexy is a shape!)

WELL DONE on your progress!!! Please keep up the good work!!!
