Was just curious if anyone knows.... there is a fruit available called an ApplePear and it's exactly what it sounds like... a hybrid of an Apple and a Pear. They are really good and juicy. Since we are allowed Apples and Pears on the diet, are we also allowed to consume these ApplePears? Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

Hey, GettinSkinny! I don't know about the ApplePear, but pears in general are not allowed on the diet. At least, they are not listed in my Guide.
I did check in the beginning of the program and clementines are allowed - they are considered the same as tangerines.
Anyone else know about the ApplePear??:hypnotic:

MrsPeel, you are absolutely right - pears aren't on the list. I went back and checked my diet program and they are not on the list. I guess I was thinking of the peach? Anyway, that probably answers the question and terribly sorry if I mislead anyone.

hi, gettingskinny! :)
as i discussed in the beginning of my diet with the consultanz wether 2 have the apples or not, i tried 2 b smart and asked 2 trade the apples 4 pears.. :party1:
well, hahaha! they r loaded with sugar the consuls let me know and "no", there's just noooo way 2 have pears-

{hi} there Gettinskinny, Mrs Peel and Cyberella
Just popping in to confirm NO :noway: PEARS and please, NO :noway: APPLE PEARS either.
If you microwave your apples in a bit of water they make a very delicious sweet desert - you can even add cinnamon and sweetener MMMmmmmmm{cheerleader} and, oh, I'm impressed with just how DIET SMART Mrs Peel and Cyberella are!!!
